minus-squaredan@upvote.aulinkfedilinkarrow-up1·9 days agoI think the real issue isn’t the rewrites, it’s the fact that Ubuntu started using the new Rust coreutils even though they weren’t ready for production yet. uutils hasn’t even reached version 1.0 yet, and still fails some compatibility tests.
