I’m cheap, once I get the game free somewhere I take it off my Steam wishlist.
I like Heroic but it doesn’t always help. I spent hours yesterday trying to get the Hot Wheels game working and never did get it working in game mode, only desktop.
I too have basically all of them. A few have caught my interest on PC. More than a few were a big pain to get working on Steam Deck even with Heroic Launcher.
I use an Anker Usb-c hub, it has USB 3 input ports for controllers and flash drives, and HDMI out for the TV.

Always knew it was a good idea to dodge the Nvidia app. Everything running in the background can affect performance. I got by on low end hardware for years because I had an optimized system.

Yes I don’t like enemies that spawn. Especially in a single player game I think a world where everything gets created with the game world and stays that way is very interesting. Of course it’s good if events can change the sandbox, like if you don’t deal with a goblin camp near the village then they raid the village later.
Don’t tell any boss specifics of what you’re doing. If you have to tell anyone only tell close coworkers that won’t blab to others.
