It’s not “new”. There is no FOMO. Early adopters for games are a large chunk of sales.

They lose day 1 hype, tho. Sure, the game eventually comes to steam, but that’s after it’s already been overplayed on twitch and YouTube’d to death.

That’s from rolls of excess skin, when you pull, the fur stays in the same shape, but the skin beneath flattens. Could be overweight, could just be older loose skin.

Try out Ashenspire, their album Hostile Architecture was my album of the year in 2022. They aren’t death metal per se, but they are heavy as shit. Best description is prog metal jazz infusion with spoken word poetry.

I’ve had such mixed results with that. On one hand it works but it’s rarely a smooth experience. Too many 2d elements blended into 3d and suddenly I’m standing half way through a menu with no way to select anything and a cutscene is running 6 miles away clipped through 17 levels of assets.

Well it’s Unreal, so expect shader compilations and micro stutters, as well as a host of graphic options that may or may not make a visual difference, but will randomly tank your fps for no reason.

I think it came down to net vs gross. They make less in gross with pachinko, but their net was higher due to less overhead. It’s like the dodgy gacha market that every Japanese game house has gotten into. They can put out a shit product that only reaches a 10th of their previous market, but that 10th pays through the teeth for their waifu.

Bullshit. It exists because Konami got out of the video game business for Pachinko and then realised they could double dip if they beat all their dead horses some more.

Oh no, I totally get it. I’m just trying to see some bright spot in these dark times. The vibe of the picture is fun, and I hope the people in it were having fun. I’m overly cynical by nature, so I’m trying to not jump to horrible conclusions with everything I see, because it was really effecting my mental health.

Or it could be a joke picture with some people having fun. Is there some context I’m missing?
