Every time I talked about privacy concerns with these devices on Reddit, I got a deluge of “oh they don’t listen all the time” and “oh they don’t send anything home”. Insanity.

I received one as a gift years ago and it’s still in the box. I should give it to someone.

Hell yeah dude, I love to hear it. It sucks that there were destructive economy things… but if you and I were just some peeps before who were crushed by the boots of “you must come to office” capitalism and now have more comfy lives… at least something positive came out of it. I still have to go into an office half the time, but at least now half my time is chillin in bed doing nothing (and still performing better then anyone else on my team) and half the time I have to car to a place and it kinda sucks.

You deserve the awesome job you have, and everyone should be able to enjoy life like we do.

My partner and I were laid off December 2019. In February 2020 my government started giving us both a lot of money every month. We were not working from 2020 until 2022, and made money anyway. We spent all of our time together, at home, going out as little as possible, doing everything we loved (we have all of the same hobbies and are homebodies).

Best years of our lives.

We do not have suits, just ears, tails, and kigurumi. It was perfect. I would recommend going even if you don’t have a suit. It was insane, everyone there just treated us like we’ve been their friends for years. It was so welcoming and fun and we met one favorite person of them all who followed us around or let us follow him around and was just a DELIGHT, because we didn’t know anyone there.

I hope you can, too! I was lusting over a con happening kinda far away, then my partner looked for other cons and found one happening a few month later, 10 miles from us! We were able to get a room at the hotel and everything, it was insane. Wayyyy higher attendance than I expected. It was our first con. Got gakked on blow and partied with a shitton of suiters in a tiny room playing beer pong, thinking “there’s no way we don’t get COVID this weekend”

Hella COVID two days later. WORTH IT

Nobody has ever brought up my phone sticker! I was wearing a BD hoodie and a mask and a cool-looking scene girl tugged at her friend and pointed at me and they both laughed (my partner told me, I didn’t notice) so I think they knew hahaha

I have had some folks take pictures of/laugh at/comment on my license plates too! I can’t say what’s on em cuz I don’t wanna doxx myself D: Gotta say, furry cons have the highest ratio of custom plates to normal plates I’ve ever seen.

I have so many Bad Dragon stickers that I don’t want to waste… Got a phone with a clear back so I could put stickers in the back without removing their backing, so now I can rotate them out without using them up!

TF2 is one of my highest as well, but only half as many hours as you! Lots of hats… cashed out all my unusuals for an Index.

Highest is probably Diablo II+D2R, played every day in my teens, from when I got home to when I slept. Then I started playing while botting. Has to be 3k+ hours. Never been so addicted to a video game.
