Tisza will head in the right direction. The influence of Israel is really strong in Hungary, especially in Budapest and the Jewish Ghetto district. Will need some time to overcome it.
Most of the world has much bigger problems to deal with that are much closer to home than some conflict/war/genocide happening far away from them.
Hungary, for example, has just come out of a 16 year period where they were ruled by Russian backed fascists who uprooted a lot of the country’s institutions and destroyed their relationships with their neighbors. Not only that, but they also border Ukraine which is facing one of the biggest and most horrific wars of this century. Russia has already said that they’re next on the chopping block and has added them to their infamous list of unfriendly countries. They already have their hands full, why would any politician running to be the head of state there spend any time on Palestine or Sudan or Myanmar or whatever other country that’s facing grim times over their own country and people? It doesn’t make sense, and so they don’t. That’s perfectly reasonable.
Pro-Russian right wing replaced by Pro-Palestine-Genocide EU right wing… Europe fucking sucks.
I am sorry progress doesn’t come wrapped in the pretty bow you want. I guess we should just not have any progress at all.
Hardly any progress can be spoken of when the vast majority of Europe is plunging to the far right. Look at Italy, look at polls in Germany and Spain.
But this thread is about the election/progress in Hungary, specifically.
Orbán was pro Palestine genocide. https://novaramedia.com/2026/04/13/israel-loses-key-european-ally-as-viktor-orban-defeated-in-hungary/
Agreed, but we’ve only gone from Guatepeor to Guatemala as we’d say in Spanish

how can you tell magyar personally is against palestine?
Not campaigning against genocide (he’s taken no position publicly) implies siding with the ones committing genocide
The world does not in fact revolve around Palestine
Extremely evil position to stand on

You’re the type of person who would seethe if a cure for cancer was found because they didn’t also find a cure for rabies
Cure of cancer = imperialist genocidal EU, gotcha
Come on, you’re intentionally missing the point.
