    Mine (Finnish Lapphunds) love having a pull in the snow too. Snowboard or sled for winter; longboard when the snow’s gone.

    I learned this from a husky owner that they get a big mental stimulation from it because it ticks off their drive to pull, as many are bred for. Quickly they learn what type of walkies we’re doing based on whether the harnesses go on. They’ll be all pumped, then start off and immediately get into this really methodical endurance rhythm. Like a pace they naturally just do balancing speed and effort to maximise distance. It’s so cool.

    One husky can handle one person with ease too. And teaching stop, go, left, and right commands is another big stimulation for them they love.

    Edit: Oh, but make sure they’ve got a good supporting harness for it, and you’ll probably want paw wax if the ground’s a bit textured up and you’re doing a few KMs with them.
