But that is kinda what I said. They share some symptoms. Medical science doesn’t know the cause of either, so symptoms is about all they have to go on. The reality is most likely that adhd as it is defined is probably multiple different causes that very well may be unrelated. Autism is almost definitely so. Repackaging them under one spectrum is just as good as two. And no more meaningful either way. In the end, both are just labels for things that aren’t understood.
