As long as it scaled to reasonably the same price as current meat, I’d absolutely do it unless there were some significant downsides like it somehow being even worse for the environment.

I didn’t like big picture mode from the TV much, especially for media. I stuck with just using a lighter DE (Mate in my case) with some tweaks to make it easier to read from the couch and use a wireless smaller keyboard and trackball.
Audiograbber for a while, then used Foobar2000 since I always had it open anyway, and then finally EAC because its the best and I am still using it.
I had to give up my retro game collection when I moved and I realized how long overdue it was. I hope someone out there is enjoying my old consoles and games.
Oh, is it time for Sony to self-sabotage again?
Finally a use for the Mr Fusion I got off that old Delorean!
It is no coincidence that the 980 ti was the last top end GPU I purchased from Nvidia. Their greed is out of control and I can’t believe a meaningful number of people have gone along with it.
Theft of both food and desk items was a huge issue at two different large office jobs I had. In the second one, HR and management didn’t care until someone stole the electronics from the break room and they finally put up cameras. I think the correlation is that those big offices had large phone sales and support staff that works in the building. Those roles underpaid, under-appreciated, and have high turnover. I can definitely see some of those people being on their last rope and not giving a shit about stealing from either the company or people they feel have “cushy” jobs.
Making inedible or spicy food to catch a food thief is a trick as old as time and I have even done it myself. There is no other way to catch them out usually.
Me too, but considering how many questions had AI in it…
I wish there had just been a single answer that said “Focus on Firefox and not AI”.
Someone else in the comments mentioned it is about 40% faster than the AVX-2 code and slightly more than twice as fast as the SSE3 code. That’s still a nice boost, but hopefully no one was relying on the radically slow unoptimized baseline.
Fine, let’s go with BotW was a bad Zelda game and I strongly disliked it. I tried to like it and played all the way through because I was stubborn, but in the end I think it sucked as did my friends (they all quit long before I did). I wish I hadn’t bought it or spent time in it.
Also, I disagree that it changed the open world landscape. H:ZD released before BoTW did, did the open world stuff better (IMO), and still doesn’t seem like it was radically novel at the time other than the story/setting. The only truly novel thing about BotW was that it was open world in a Zelda game.
I have seen them twice in the last year, but it was only a single bug each time. A sad lightning bug trying to find others to mate… I didn’t see another one around it.
Your list of games would definitely rank higher for me as well (assuming Divinity 2 means Divinity: Original Sin 2). I’m sure there are a ton of games in there I’ve forgotten that would also quality.
Try “lcd tv non-smart”, “lcd tv hospitality”, or “lcd business tv” or any variations thereof.
I’m shocked that BoTW was considered the top game of the 2010s. I felt BoTW was mediocre over all on top of not feeling like a Zelda game at all. As far as open world games, I felt that Horizon: Zero Dawn was more compelling in both gameplay and story and I’m still not sure I’d rank it as a top game of the decade.
Mine would probably be my ghetto breakfast sandwiches. I usually throw a little shredded cheese, diced onion, and hot peppers into a coffee mug and crack and egg into it and then scramble it. Microwave that for a min while i toast an English muffin or bagel. Then put it together with maybe a thin slice of ham. Excellent breakfast sandwich. People think I’m nuts for making the eggs in a microwave, but it works well, has an easy cleanup, and is super quick in the mornings before work.
quickadilla
While never calling it your excellent “quickadilla” name, I have been doing that with leftover beef and chicken taco ingredients for years. It also works well with some leftover Asian and Indian dishes.
Unless it is trying to actually look cool like “cool retro terminal” or something, I fail to see how the point. I don’t recall ever in the history of my terminal use ever thinking “man, this terminal emulator is so slow!” I mean, really… 120fps 4k terminals. Neat I guess?
