It’s important to understand that any argument against improving one’s material conditions is going to be rightfully ignored. Better to point out that without removing the yoke of power, any concessions can be easily removed.

Yet roads and lines of communication make a socialist transition more likely. Almost like the material conditions matter no matter the political context.
Cool, now do public education and public roads.
IDK about “white knight”; I first heard the phrase “dangerous by default” from a black man recounting how he got nervous being on an elevator with a white woman.
“Dangerous by default” is one hell of a thing to internalize 😞
I lived through those times, this is different. The punishment for false hope is the lesson that things can always get worse.
We’re cooked because our leaders are pumping the AI bubble while crashing the rest of the economy. When that bubble pops those programmers are going to have to find a job in a nuclear sized crater of where the economy used to be.
It’s not even a question when we’re literally fighting for due process.
After 2 weeks I think they would say something if they had something, and even then…
That is the definition of liberalism but that is not the loved experience of unhoused people in the USA. If you are unhoused there are a lot of moral judgements that come along with that.
Harder? Being queer and unhoused can be pretty damn bad in the states. In China your boss might say something bad but you don’t have to worry about being homeless.
But those are for hire. Unlike American Democracy, the CCP can’t be bought.
Yeah, I got questions about Tienanmen, but not the same ones. Like was the CIA involved in the counter protest outside the school campus?
Also, there is searchable queer content on RedNote, the app own by the CCP
There’s a plenty of ideological reasons, but I think it is partly the environment being so stressful makes it harder for people to be considerate to new viewpoints or people.
This is why they fired the JAG lawyers at the Pentagon: there won’t be any legal expert opinions in the military to tell the soldiers the order is illegal.
I am a leaf on the wind, watch how I soar
AI is maturing into what exactly?
The line and reasoning is borrowed from “Bimbo - a philosophical analysis” : https://youtu.be/FeRIE6JDhCQ , the line “I’m not dumb enough to rationalize my way through life” is a rebuttal of Nietzsche type attitudes.
I’m not dumb enough to rationalize my way through life, so just go with what you’re feeling. You don’t need to rationalize it for it to be valid.
Was the paper optimizing for multiple objectives? Sounds like this project is pursuing some features that haven’t been proven
