One of my all time favorites. There’s something special about the N64, these games were magical as a kid and a lot of them still hold up today.
I used to play through Ocarina almost every year but it’s been about a decade and I started a playthrough last week. People have made some incredible progress on updating textures and such to make the game look more modern 👌
I used to work next to a huge arena. Every time there was a sold-out show, the cell service would be rough the whole time from people sending videos and such. When the shows let out it would be a complete meltdown while people tried to get Ubers.

I always had a desk and a bed and I made a point to never have my back towards the door when I was at my desk for the above reason.
The obvious one is an enclosure or latches door to prevent accidental falls. They might be wearing fall protection that we can’t see but I doubt it.
There’s a good chance nobody ever fell from one of these but those regulations exist for a reason.
Maybe less obvious is fail-safes for any elevator system so if the brakes fail it doesn’t freefall into the ground.
Sorta. CBM is cubic meters and the entire world uses feet for shipping containers. For Intl logistics CBM and kg are the standard for volume and weight but they get loaded into containers measured in feet.
You’ll see similar stuff in other industries. Machining a lot of measurements are in mm but tolerances in “mils” or 1/1000 of an inch. Or medical where volume is in mL or drams.
When it comes to distance though I only really know miles.
For context 28 CBM is about the volume of a 20’ container.
Or a stacked pallet is about 1.8 CBM so about 15 standard height pallets.

I followed some of the fan cuts when they were first released and looked for them in the usual places but forgot the names until you mentioned it here.
I’m also looking for a fan cut of episodes 1-3 where someone cut all 3 films into a ~3 hour supercut that removes a lot of the boring and unnecessary bits. Does that sound familiar or do you know the name of that one? Thanks!
The one on Disney Plus. My fiance never told me, she has a bluray set with the original cuts so if we go back for empire and return we’ll watch those versions. I forgot how jarring and stupid all the CGI is.
Also pandas and matplotlib but maybe that’s just me.

Yeah but fuck all that python is good enough for most beginners. Variables, scope, loops, functions, operators… Once you get some of the principles down switching to C++ or similar isn’t nearly as bad.
Being a person that tried to learn C/C# from scratch in my early days python was a good gateway language.
