    What a hamsum boy.

Oh man, big ol cat hug squeezy incoming for my lil guy

I hope you’re able to transition through the grieving process well, friend. It’s never a bad moment to stop and take a real deep breath and feel the pain, it’s going to come regardless and it’s always better to accept it in these situations.

  • Yeah I’m having an issue with the cmake command, I was able to install ecm, now I’m getting errors on finding dependencies for KF6

I’m stuck using the rpm-ostree command for this, and it doesn’t seem to have the same options for installing dependencies as other tools do.

I’ll have to take a look at it tomorrow, I’m beat.

    I appreciate you, though

There is a note on GitHub for forceblur that states it will have to be built in a container as well. I’ll have to find out what that means tomorrow

  • Gonna copy/paste my other comment because it applies here too, especially the thank you part.

Thanks for the reply. This much I understand, I guess a better way to ask would be, what are the differences in “advertised”(for lack of a better word) server hardware that more effectively accomplish the task of serving?

If I were to build a server at home for media hosting, what are the areas I should focus on? I guess a good example is error correcting memory (hopefully I’m remembering that right)

Is that something that’s just going to have slightly better performance or is that crucial? And are there other examples of hardware that I should be focusing on?
