I’ve never heard this phrase before and I love it.
I’ve never heard this phrase before and I love it.
I’m 42 and have my first pet since I graduated high school and moved out, leaving our family dog with my parents, and I’m already dreading this. I love her so much and it’s weird knowing this is just something I/we all sign up for.
Read at least one floor ahead of where your party is as there are a lot of opportunities for “oh we’ll poke our heads down this stairway and see what’s up.” And I also got access to a plotter sized printer, printed out all the floors, and then cut the rooms out and tape them onto individual cardboard sheets so as they bounce between floors I can easily flip which map they’re on!
I started running this in PF2E because I wanted to try the system out, but most of my players were really more interested in D&D so we pivoted over to this 5E version with this book + the 5.5 release and I’ve been digging it so far.
I wouldn’t mind seeing more of this!
I want to watch this but also know it will wreck me
Just found Survive (but the original 1982 one, not the reprint), which we’d played a bunch growing up, and it was perfect to play through a couple games of it for nostalgia’s sake without having to buy a game I wouldn’t actually play much at all beyond that.
There’s been a big bump in board games at my library, which I love and I’ve donated to, and one by my sister’s place has a whole tool lending library. Seems super nice for folks that need a power drill once every few years.
This looks fun! Going to have to check that demo out when I get home.
Any link/info on your game? I’m down for a cozy game with a bit more core gameplay
It sounds like they moved into a neighborhood with an HOA that had an opt in pool and a two tier fee based on usage, and y’all changed that after the fact and are holding the smaller percent who don’t care about the pool hostage. This is part of why no one likes HOAs.
Prior to the pool retrofit could folks still move in and choose whether or not to pay for/use the pool?
Wait so for the folks that didn’t care about the pool, their dues went up 3.5x so far, soon to be 4.5x, for something they didn’t want or use, and you’re surprised they’re not paying? That’s some entitlement right there…
Don’t try to BS your way through answers; if you don’t know, let them know that but also tell them how you’d go about getting that information.
Played through the demo and I can’t wait for the full release.
To be fair, you have to have a small fortune in figures anyway haha
I started a Pathfinder game because I wanted to get away from D&D, and because two friends really got into Dimension20 stuff and wanted to give RPGs a try. I was digging the rules a lot but they’re watching 6-8 hours of D&D content a week and playing PF2E every couple of weeks, and it was just a huge disconnect for them. With Abomination Vaults getting a 5e release, it just seems easier to make the switch back to something my players are more comfortable with.
Now to convince my cousin he wants to run a PF2E game so I can get that bard life going.
Right? I’ll never understand why they don’t go with Super Wii or Wii Advanced, as those were established “hey here’s the next gen of this system” names.
Haha okay
Gotta be careful with this; I showed a coworker some models I painted once and he loved them and now makes me feel bad because he’ll ask what I’ve done recently and it’s always nothing haha
