A sim or cell service has nothing to do with gps. Gps signals arrive from satellites in orbit around the earth…
Defender was never designed to help directly against any of these except the last one.
Iirc any cell phone is still capable of dialing 911(or equivalent) even without a sim. So id imagine carrier towers and gps could still find it. You’d basically have to keep the device in a ferriday bag. Which complicates actually using it.
Maybe I’m missing a setting, but I can’t get this to scale with my vertical monitor. Rearranging the layout would be cool too.
Otherwise ya this looks and works well.
I think the estimates are much, much longer until that happens.
Maybe kdeconnect?
My work laptop is windows sadly. It has to run a bunch of endpoint sec stuff. I get it, but still sucks. On occasion I do dual boot (separate drive) when some update breaks something and I have to have a PC to fix something asap.
Nah, gimme the dark mode time. Year round.
You joke but it would be an awesome project. Maybe replace the screen with a real LCD, shove an rpi inside etc.
Power delivery is just as likely to to be soldered to the motherboard as it is to be on a daughter board. It just depends on the particular model. This is for just about every brand.
I still prefer lenovos square shaped charger ports over just about any other tbh.
“It is what it is”
I get the sentiment behind it, it’s just usually so defeatist/dismissive of a situation to me.
Nah. Guilt or disappointment to others could lead to the same path. Or if the individual has no friends/family/non-social.
Edit: sorry if this isnt a complete thought it’s a good question
Won’t make much of a difference usually. Worst that may come up is having to import the key from the distro during boot of your flashdrive. Otherwise go through the installer, delete windows or tell installer to wipe the disk and install over windows.
Few years ago I got an mp3 player out of a dollar vending machine. I think it still works to this day. It’s really notuch bigger than the quarters it cost.
Technically, it can be played by one person. Two would be the more ideal bare minimum.
And ya you’d use them to play the game. With a game like this, or any other TTRPG you essentially have near infinite entertainment.
I’d take a gander at my digital copies of several D&D books. Maybe chop all the art/pics and just have text. If nothing else just the core books and a dice app if I couldn’t bring physical ones.
An odd and very specific, but sims 4. Only if it included any and all content as it’s released with no additional fees/purchases.
Last I looked (and ignoring sales, just MSRP) is several hundred dollars.
Then I remember it’s owned by EA…
