Auf Glasflaschen (da ist auch oft Bier drin) und diverse Mehrwegflaschen aus (festerem) Kunststoff ist schon seit Jahrzehnten Pfand, auch in Österreich. Auch Pfandautomaten im Supermarkt sind altbekannt. Das System an sich sollte jetzt niemanden durch absolute technologische Neuheit überfordern.

Ich drehe das sogar eher um (bei schon sehr verbreiteten Begriffen, und wenn die Lächerlichkeit hervorgehoben wird, ansonsten lasse ich ihn ganz weg), damit solche Euphemismen sich gar nicht erst zu stark verankern.
