I’ve tried, and I can’t get used to it. Actually I started using gyro for aiming, and that feels a lot better.
Sound technician from Spain. Late millenial. I like videogames. I use arch btw.

I’ve used them for custom radial menus and for moving the mouse cursor on games with no proper controller support, but I never use it on games with controller support; I would also like to know what other people use them for.
You can just claim them on the webpage, no need to install the launcher.
I wanted to see KOTOR 3 for years, but after seeing the writing in TOR and knowing Disney has bought the IP, I don’t expect it, and I wouldn’t be super excited if they actually make it.
It does support Linux: it lets you download Linux installer for games that have a Linux port.
The lack of GOG Galaxy on Linux just means you have to manually manage your games.
What’s even more amazing is that back then I had the luck to find this thread and this other thread which also had the same problem. Because the most I got out of checking logs and debugging coredumps, was this ReadCursorFromTheme error (repeated like 10000 times).
Also, I had the default cursor pack and like with OP, it just stopped working one day. I’m guessing it has something to do with how hyprland tells the apps what cursor to use (hence the hyprcursor thing OP mentions), but honestly I don’t even want to think about it anymore, it made me lose a whole day back then xP
Glad I could help <3
I had this problem with chromium based apps a while ago, and it turned out to be a problem with missing cursors. I just downloaded a different cursor pack and the problem was solved.
I don’t know if it’s the same thing but it’s worth checking; a debugger can point you in the right direction if it’s something else.
It is right there on the Eurasia map at the link you shared, and on the list of Eurasian territories, so OP was correct.
The thing is that “continental Europe” is not the same as the continent of Europe, which does include the islands. Mainland Europe is a less ambiguous name.
Guess again
Microsoft is blocking the Windows 11 24H2 update on computers with some Ubisoft games, like Assassin’s Creed, Star Wars Outlaws, and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, after changes in the operating system cause the games to crash, freeze, or have audio issues.
Doesn’t work on Linux because of anticheat :/
Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun. Got it for free on Epic a while ago, tried it, and didn’t finish the first mission (got stuck at the final part).
I picked it up again after upgrading my steam deck’s storage, and this time I did finish the tutorial! It is fun to play so I hope it sticks for a bit :)
It’s about preserving the consumption culture for the mainstream. If playing older games for free was easier and legal, more people that now only play the newest AAA garbage would start doing it, and corpos don’t want to risk that culture change, because if it gets big enough it would definitely impact their sales.
Unfortunately not many people know or care about indie games and free games like Beyond All Reason, Shattered Pixel Dungeon, etc. as is.
It’s actually 1021, short scale sextillions.
More like I rather enjoy it while it lasts instead of going into a fridge to preserve it ;P
Unless they store everything in high vacuum and near absolute zero, it’s going to get oxidized and fail eventually. There is no such thing as perpetuity. Might as well give them some use.
Paid product? I’m not sad, we already have Heroic Games Launcher for free, and it works just fine.
why not? they may have one long pass that they remember and use for everything, can’t be bothered to remember more of them.
