I have a headtorch like this. Keep it charged and most of the time everything is good. But that one time when I’m out skiing at night and shit goes wrong / I run out of charge it’s OK because I have a couple of AA’s in my bag as spares.

Assassins creed: valhalla for the big stints.
And knights of tight spaces for when I think it’s a short stint and ends up playing it for a few hours.
I don’t think that applies to me though, my memory is too poor to be depressed about anything.
Or get ptsd, or anxiety.
So, silver lining I guess.
Same same but I can’t remember huge chunks of my adults life. I chat with family and friends and they recall stories of things we’ve done together and I don’t remember anything. It helps if I see a photo but sometimes I still can’t recall anything and it just freaks me out.
Knit your own!
I recently took up knitting and knitted my first pair of socks for a friend. She loves them.
Never fucking again! What a pain! Literally, I kept tapping myself in the stomach with the double pointed needles.
This, and to stop giving your kids sweets.
Yeah this is how I clean the house 80%.
The other 20% is me not cleaning the house and playing with the stuff I find.
I got the original ones not the fancy new ones on ebay for £112, the cable was broken and the nose pads were missing but I bought some foam pads and a new cable for £15.
Absolutly worth it. They also plug into my phone for watching movies and shows. I work away from home a lot and the glasses along with noise cancelling headphones are brilliant at blocking out all the idiots who’d otherwise think they could talk to me.
I got a pair of the xreal air glasses to use with the deck. Now I have a big screen and I can keep my arms down where they’re comfy. 7/5 would recommend.
I have different Owen Wilson 'wow’s for each of my most regular contacts message notifications.
For my ringtone it’s the metal gear solid codec call.

I listen to audiobooks to get to sleep and use musiCozy headphone bands, cheap and comfy.

Hey, thanks for the game, got accepted recently and have been really enjoying it.
Sadly I’ve just come 3rd in the parents race at my kids sports day at the cost of pulling my calf muscle so it look like I’ll not be getting many steps in over the next few days.
Keep up the great work, I’m looking forward to see how it progresses.

This reminds me of it’s always sunny when Charlie, who is illiterate, realises he can read Irish gaelic because his childhood penpal, who turns out to be his father, wrote to him in Irish.
Yes slice and dice! I would hate to know how many hours I’ve played on that game over three different phones.
If you haven’t tried them yet, slay the spire and balatro are also brilliant.

I’ve always been a night person. Absolutly useless first thing in the morning. Then I got a job working nights and it just seemed so natural.
Then as I got older I got a job working offshore, working nights. So I get to wake up at 1400, have a cup of tea, go to the gym, do some other stuff before starting shift at 1830 - 0630. Then go straight to bed, and not have any disturbances until I wake up.
Yeah, the first night it a bit tough having traveled to work through the day then staying up all night and when I get home turning around to regular life can take a couple days but melatonin helps a lot with that.
I have a friend who works as a night porter in a hotel and has to sleep at home with his family doing stuff during the day, he always looks tired and I don’t think it’s healthy for him to continue that long term.
I think some people are wired for days and some for nights but they still need to get proper rest whenever it is that suits them.
I read a book by the author of fight club called “Rant” where society was split into dayshift and nightshift due to overpopulation, doesn’t seem like such a bad idea to me.
Also, if you work nights make sure to take vitamin d supplements.

I printed off my own set to play with colleagues at work. Turns out none of my colleagues are nerds :(
Ha I thought for a second your age was in the 90’s, but then I considered it more likely that you were born in the 1990’s, right?

The hero yoshihiko for anyone wondering what the show is.

When making mac and cheese just cook the pasta in milk, then when it’s ready add in the grated cheddar, mozzarella and cream cheese and stir. Job done.
I disagree. I recently had to cover a dayshift and I hated it! Never again, I will quit my job before they make me work dayshift.
