Dude… I’ve gone pretty fast down some hills. It feels way safer to be going real slow and fall over than going 50 mph downhill on a road bike in a nice straight line.

Without / there is no way to know
Why do a decent thing when you have money on your side

You’re right they didn’t say it very nicely, but they are correct in a sense. You may need to use the “polite but firm card” if they aren’t taking no for an answer, but it doesn’t hurt to soften the rejection if you are saying no to a picture with a patient or someone else that you cared for. Many people will respect that, and the niceness goes a long way. And if they don’t respect it, you don’t owe them anything.
I agree, and you can explain that it’s not personal, and offer an alternative -if you want- write a note as a memento or something
It is tenacious but if you use good old fashioned weeding for a few years ago you can suppress it fairly well.
How are the marks made in the freezer
Dude that’s awesome. How did you make these images??
In my understanding, since gravity is acting on us, an external force is applied when we jump. That’s why a jump is a parabola. “Gravity’s Rainbow”
Yeah, but it’s evergreen. Loads of people haven’t played it or finished it, or were even born when it came out, and might be learning about it just now.
For me the gameplay was kinda meh and actually frustrating at times, but the way it tells the story was so nice and so perfectly fit the mechanics, that made it worth it. So I guess think twice about a “fun fact” with no spoiler tag that gives away something so important for enjoying the game.
Thanks I’m glad I already played it before reading this incredible spoiler
Can’t trust snopes any more
31 mph is not too bad, but at higher speeds you start facing safety risks and instabilities of different kinds besides just falling over. Going downhill very fast on a road bike is not a super stable configuration. You can slip on turns, lose control on bumps, hit something you didn’t have reaction time for, etc.
I think planes have this too where they’re safer at higher altitudes, except not too high beyond what they’re rated for and have other instabilities from that
