In addition to wired you’d probably also see an uptick in line of sight optical transmissions via laser. Both of those options would really be the only two ways around it.
For me, since my entire house is wired, I’d just lose use of my cell phone. Most all internet infrastructure is wired too, so all that would continue to operate.

That’s not an MS thing, that’s the way your admins configured it. There are methods for doing system wide, once every X hours authentication, but chances are they don’t know that or went overkill with the settings to “be more secure”

So one thing I see people skipping is the requirements. Depending on what your undergrad is and what you want to go for for your masters you may have to take some “redmedial” classes as your degree skills may not transfer or be considered too old. This will extend the amount of time you need to complete your degree.
Also, what is the reason you want to go back for it? It is just the desire to have the degree or is there an end goal you have after it? It may not be cost effective in the long run.

I think the two biggest reasons behind that are 1) most EU/US passports give you near unfettered access to most the world and 2) the Schengen zone makes that a reality at least within the EU.

I live in Texas and completely disagree with your point there. Sure things have been gerrymandered to hell, but they’ve done so based on voting trends and not registered voters. We could easily flip even the most gerrymandered districts if people got out. Also don’t forget that the Governor and the President are decided by results that don’t care about Gerrymandered districts.
Texas also allows early voting, and all you need is your drivers license. Will it get 100% of people: no, but enough to make a difference. It feels like you’re falling into the same trap as the OP response here, that unless it’s 100% perfect it won’t make a difference.
