Another commenter to this post said a Loops web UI update is coming, so hopefully that version will include the og:video metadata so any client can easily support them. It also means I might have to adjust my code to account for those changes in case they don’t add that metadata on the new version lol.

Indeed. I don’t know if that behavior has changed past 0.19.3, but that’s the version my instance and Lemmy World (OP’s instance) is using, and that’s how it be.

Comment removed and user banned. Not sure why you can still see the comment, though. The API still returns the comment text even if it’s removed, and the client has to redact it (that’d be a Sync thing).

For sure. I was like “That…looks like T’Pol” and then he introduced her. I was like “surely they wouldn’t bring back that character just to recast her” and was ecstatic when, yep, it was T’Pol.

I don’t care what she goes by, lol, I’m just shocked, amazed, and grateful they got her to reprise T’Pol (I just finished an ENT rewatch). She retired and hasn’t acted since 2017. She’s also Mrs. Ticketmaster so she definitely doesn’t need to work. Glad she’s a Trekkie otherwise it probably wouldn’t have happened.

I think I just used the ripper in MusicMatch Jukebox that came with my computer. It was only the “shareware” version, so I was limited to 96 kbps.

I still have many of those in my collection. When I throw on the actual CD or hear it in a higher/lossless format, they sound “wrong” because I’m still so used to the crappy 96kbps rips I had with me on my MP3 player for years.

On the plus side, those smaller files let me fit several more songs onto my 64 MB MP3 player from 2001 or so (it used a parallel port to transfer lol)

For me, it helped that I chose locations where it “made sense” but was also convenient.

I’ve got a big, decorative bowl on a table by the front door where my wallet, keys, etc go. Basically all the stuff I need when I leave the house is there, and I dump them back immediately when I get home.

My remotes, e-reader, laptop, etc are usually on the coffee table. When I’m not using them, they go inside (it’s a lift-top with storage inside).

Just little stuff like that + forcing myself to repeat until it’s a habit.

Yep. Retro-futuristic / art deco is kind of my vibe. Like, I used cheats in Bioshock just so I could walk around undisturbed and admire the architecture.

I must have really old tastes in light fixtures. Every one of the lamps I liked were designed in the 50s/60s and are long out of production lol.

Soooo many accounts blocked the last few days. Bad things can happen to bad people without frothing at the mouth and going full bloodlust, but so many people here seem incapable of that.
