You’re correct, but I meant from the therapist’s perspective. Couples therapy is real easy to go sideways

My hunch is they were using that as an excuse when the reality was they were terrified of doing couple’s therapy because it’s really hard

As a long time reader of the subreddits where this sort of advice is posted, sure, some commenters fall back on this advice, which requires no thought and is very easy to consider when you’re not at all involved, however the top responses are almost always well thought out perspectives on the relationship.
If this question is about your parents and how they treat you though, which I’m considering based on your post history, I’m afraid you’re going to find there’s nothing you can do to change them, and that putting distance between them and yourself is your only pathway to minimizing that negativity in your life.
What if you do have ADHD and you could find a treatment that improves some of this for you?

Same here. I’ve never had a card declined on a website. I’m decidedly anti-app and haven’t ever had a problem

As an elder millennial, I’ve neither witnessed nor even heard of this “phenomenon.”

I disagree. Here in Texas, for example, even while politicians push new fossil fuel investments, property owners and private solar companies are deploying small and medium sized photovoltaic projects all over the state. Solar is a higher percentage of our total generation mix every year, 10% of the total last year (<1% 5 years ago), and its growth is dramatically outpacing that of fossil fuels. You won’t see headlines about this, but the market forces are real

True, but that does surprisingly little to prevent homelessness.
Yes, but it does a LOT to keep people experiencing homelessness off the streets and in shelter. In US cities that have harsh winters, they also have many fewer homeless folks visible on the streets than you’d find in California or Texas, where people can pretty much live outside in perpetuity

Their 2024 gross revenue was about $1.9 billion, so $250 million would be over 13% of their total annual revenue
This used to be me, but I put a hook by the door where I handle my bag back up after I’ve unloaded it. I rarely go to the grocery on impulse though, so I’m always making a dedicated trip and leaving from my house, and the routine of it finally sank in. I highly recommend an extra large tote with stiff sides. I can typically fit an entire shopping trip in there for our family of 3 and just sling it over my shoulder
I’ve been using a wireless mouse at work now for over 12 years and can count on one hand the number of times I’ve had to change the batteries

Quick question for you…what is it you need to “figure out?”
If that’s your perspective, is anyone ever responsible for anything? Or is it all just genetics and hormones
