While I think that poster is being a dick, I’m gonna make the argument that cats are basically equal to dogs, if not a bit more work. Dogs can shit outside without being destructive to native wildlife, and cats shit in a box that you have to regularly keep clean. If you get a lower energy dog, they only need a walk once or twice a week and yard time. A short-haired dog doesn’t really need regular grooming besides nails, which you often have to do for cats as well if they scratch everything but their post.

Basically, I think it’s much of a muchness, and comes down way more to the individual creature and their personality.

You should give Bazzite a go on your desktop, it’s very similar to SteamOS and the desktop experience has been great for me. I didn’t have a Steam Deck and transitioned to it, and the smoothness convinced me to get a Lenovo Legion Go and install Bazzite straight OOTB.

It makes more sense to build a new PC than it does to just change OS on this.

I haven’t made comparisons with gaming, tho I know there is somewhat, but there’s been a big performance boost on desktop and regular applications running Bazzite over Win10.

I think it’s still a mouthful even without the AI in there. I genuinely thought the name was satire to begin with…
