Thanks, i actually looked at this one during preliminary research and felt it was a bit shallow on details. I might give it a more thorought read if you suggest it and i should really look up their sources which may be a tad more advanced

As it’s a 1.5 year long project, i might be leaning more towards a coil gun as there is more “research” (won’t be discovering anything new but yk what i mean) to be done.
As for your security concerns, don’t worry, it’ll be vetoed by teachers and laboratory technicians. And every experiment will be planned and executed in controlled condition. Plus i doubt we’ll have access to any tremendous power ;)

I second this, if you design your solar panels well, not only do you get to outpu a lot of electricity, yiu actually increase your crop/cattle etc yield
There might have been a missunderstanding,
What i meant is that as an ai company, to service so many clients at once, you would have to downscale your ai models quite a lot.
In doing so, you limit your claims that you can “make an AGI, i swear bro just one more server farm”. This means that the government/investors are less likely to jump on the hype train.
All the while, downscaled model require way less trainign time and data scraping meaning you won’t get to buy all of nvidia for them to buy all of you for your market value to explode for your money to go stonks.
As far as i’m aware, this is the reason why you don’t see AIs as npc (at least yet, maybe when we get a little bit more reasonable, we can try to do it inteligently)

Because the kind of Genrative AIs which would be worth puting in a game (smaller ones) have two drawbacks for the hype train :
-you can’t promise an AGI which would justify the govt putting mbillions in your company in order to stay “competitive”
You can’t create a feedback loop of finance with nvidia and the like because your company wouldn’t need such computational power then.
For those, you mainly have to worry about them climbing on top of your panels and slipn sliding/jumping which, while cute, isn’t really apreciated by solar panels ;P
Fun tidbit, Sheeps, wanting to hold up to their fame have made a number on engineers trying to get them to live with solar panels :
The solar panels are fixed in the ground by posts,and when one sheep decides he’s goign to walk between two posts, every sheep in the pasture wants to do the same.
The whole herd trying to squeez in there puts such strain on the posts that it ended up bending them in early tests
In the end they had to strengthen the posts and space them out more.
With cows on the other hand, they are too smart and end up tinkering with any wiring left unatended and will hapily rip out cords off of your solar panels. Better keep your wiring clean !
