oops typo I meant habbits
I am a python beginner it would probably be a good idea to get better at python before moving onto something like rust. And if rust is so good is there any reason to learn any other low level language like c or c++ unless you are working on a current project that already uses c or c++?
Oh yeah never heard of shotcut either.
Does it really matter why you aren’t drinking? I tend to avoid asking questions like that especially immediately after I find out that is the case. No matter what reason someone has it won’t (or at least it shouldn’t) change there choice if I know.
Yeah always look for where a service gets its money from before you get anything.
Maybe start at the trustpilot reviews.
Yeah I deleted honey a while ago just because it was owned by PayPal and it probably sells all your data. Just one extra reason to add to the pile.
The idea of honey is good though any possibilities of an open source version?
I don’t really agree anything is impossible to fix. Maybe I’m optimistic but I think with enough time things can get better. As far as I know alcohol is much less common among younger people and there are more people avoiding it entirely now. Or maybe by impossible you meant really difficult.
Make a list of all the tasks you want to do for the day, every day. This is so important for me if I don’t do this I just never get anything done.
Also always plan to do something productive every day even if you just feel like relaxing. You will feel so much better relaxing if you know you’ve done something your proud of.
Any good tips habbits are so hard to break/make.
Yeah alcohol really sucks. It’s so embedded into society most people expect you to start drinking regularly as soon as you can. I think it’s getting better but still people are nowhere near as cautious about alcohol as they really should be it accounts for 10% of deaths worldwide, that is just mind boggling.
Do you prefer open shot or kden live?
You enjoyed 2020?
I’m not sure if that’s true, as far as I know brave is completely de-googled while not being based on de-googled chromium.
Yeah, ok makes sence thanks!
This is why I love lemmy so much. The only people here are people who have realised that mainstream social media is a steaming pile of trash and came hear to find a nice community.
Engineers aren’t the only people who should want to learn and look stuff up right? Everyone should want to learn. And tiktok is just not the way to do it at all. I think it’s wild how many people “learn” from platforms like tiktok and tell it to others like it’s a fact without doing any extra research.
Thoughts on rust? Is it a good programming language to learn as a beginner?
That’s perfect
