I’m late to the thread, and I don’t have a meme handy to offset all of the other great responses…
I will point you towards Jessica McCabe and her book How to ADHD briefly noted here:

Following along through her real stories of her real life really resonated with me and my real life and so many similar experiences.

I kinda like ReadEra (premium)…
I use OpenDyslexic font, and let the text-to-speech help to keep me tracking.

Lowes or Home Depot might have your back.

Use a hard-wired keyboard if you aren’t already. (ref)
Physically disconnect the HDD, and the PC should dump into BIOS. This would help narrow down wierd hardware behaviors if there are any.

S is operationally analogous to using a Chromebook.
There are people who will never need more than that.
We are not these people…

It’s good to know how to do it, but there is not much need to go and do it.
Unfortunate encounter with a Laplander.

One anecdotal data point to consider… They might be really loud.
I am running a few 3TB drives that were formerly enterprise SAN drives, cleaned and sold for cheap. They work just fine (we won’t talk about game loading times here), but they are very audible clacking away when the head seeks.

What kind of sadistic SOB doesn’t post the meaning?
My circa 2016 DIY attempt at an equivalent of TrackIR used a piece of floppy disk media as IR filter for a PS3eye camera (I used 850nm LEDs tho) .
More current howto linked to filters at aliexpress, and they have all sorts of ir filters in 940nm, for things that look like the super cheap IR backup cameras. Maybe a dirt cheap backup camera housing+filter could work…
Also, that old wiimote might have new purpose. Look at step 7 here.
