Contrast that to the Melbourne or Canberra science museums and space technology isn’t really at the front.

I think we notice them more now. There were people wearing masks before the covid19 pandemic and they continued to wear them.

The change is that the community as a whole is more educated and understanding of people wearing masks. Rarely are people abashed for wearing a mask anymore.

Yeah i have notifications silenced as they are a stupid distraction.

I have a tablet for work that I rarely use so I leave it for the kids to play on. Everytime i look at it there is hundreds of notifications from games they play. How are the kids meant to get anything done if they keep getting interrupted.

That’s unfair to lump all of the western world in with Australia. We ban a wide variety of things because they make us feel bad and not because it actually hurts anyone.

I agree in principle but when I’m building something I’m normally 3 - 5 people removed from the people who want it. It’s hard to push your ideas back through project managers, project engineers, program managers, presale engineers, contract managers, feed managers and then onto the actual company that asked you to implement the “solution”.

I 100% agree with the caveat of SAP. I’m not letting those cunts having a single microgram of my brain space. I’m asking accounting for help everytime
