I tried Bazzite as my first try with Linux for a while and liked it; it was super easy. I didn’t like that the immutability went so far as to lock me out of some parts of the OS that I thought should be open, like lock screen customization.

Now I am on Garuda Arch and it has been really easy too.

So all in all it’s been pretty painless.

I just watched a fascinating documentary on Star Trek and they talked about how paramount kept trying to launch their own network on the back of Star Trek as it’s cash cow and how they kept failing because it was all they had on it and not enough viewers.

Problem solved by making all the different kinds of shows into Star Trek, I guess, but how are they going to grow a fan base if it’s all locked behind a paywall that only people who already love it will pay to get through?

I always loved the “do uncontacted remote tribes that haven’t heard of God or Jesus go to heaven?” question. So far everyone has answered yes. How old is your Bowden tube? Could you be getting more friction when it is bent certain ways leading to inconsistent feeding?
