I only use Gog, and the good thing is, as you wrote, I CAN take my stuff and just leave, not that I would have any reason to at the moment.

Well, I do have other accounts like Steam and Ubisoft, but that’s only about ten games in total. Stopped buying there a long time ago when I realised I can’t backup my purchases and have to use their platforms to play.

I do miss out on many AAA titles, but seriously, they don’t appeal to me anymore. And I can wait until they drop on gog eventually.

But I don’t really see the problem in multiple accounts. If not owning is not a problem for someone why should he/she care?

I bought it blind on gog when it was on sale, visual novels aren’t my thing usually, but it did not have the anime look so I thought I gave it a try and drop it after half an hour.

Turns out it was one of the most impressive games I played these last years. What a mindfuck!

And the ending warmed my cold heart!

So I wanted to watch a review on YouTube, and what! The! Fuck! I had no idea how different (and gruesome) this game could get! Soon it’s holiday time, and it’s on my top list of things to do! Let’s see how I can fuck things up!

After fiddling with my original CDs back two years I gave up and installed these! Wide-screen, stable, high resolutions, perfect! I was so happy fans decided to get them running again!

A friendly reminder to everyone: there is a fan project, part 1 and 2 updated to run on modern systems. They have their own page, the full games can be downloaded from there, and they just work. Just Google the title and fan update.

I prefer their games over anything Bethesda/Diablo/whatever stuff.

Their games, as clunky and weird they sometimes are, have soul and passion. I’m playing Risen 2 at the moment, and I just love the world. So much too see, every corner has something to find, even if it’s just a bottle of Rum.

I started to play a year ago, but dropped it pretty fast. Though I really liked it.

If they put in the effort and implement a good save game system and proper mouse/keyboard controls, they can have my money!

Aus irgendeinem Grund kam mir dieses Zitat gerade wieder in den Kopf.

I lowered the difficulty, and I were able to kill bigger enemies with the weapon of my choice. But they became bullet sponges. There’s no fun in that. I too prefer 2016, I like my shotgun.

I’m tired of calling it protest votes. The last idiot in a cave should have heard by now that they are literally Nazis. People who voted for them are Nazis. Which gives me the creeps as a citizen of Germany.

Das ist nicht fair. Für viele war es die erste Wahl ihres Lebens, und da macht man halt oft dumme Sachen und lässt sich leicht blenden.

Okay, If you like older games that card should run them at 1080p with high details. I had the 6600, and it had enough power to run Cyberpunk at that resolution with high (not max) details at 50 FPS. Less demanding games reached higher frame rates, so my recommendation would be 1080p with a refresh rate of 100hz or more. Maybe 24" or 27". If you use it for office applications mainly maybe you could go 2 or even 4k. Have fun!!

My thoughts exactly. He has the skill to built a PC from scratch, and then this? I’m so curious now.

To the OP: With the graphics card it should be a 1080p or maybe 2k monitor, preferably with high refresh rates.

Edit: Wait. Is the 6700 included or not?

Es ist ärgerlich, aber ich will mir kein Auto für 20.000 oder mehr kaufen. Und ich brauche eins weil “auf dem Land” und so. Wenn es vernünftigen ÖVN gäbe (nicht viermal am Tag plus 3 h unterwegs statt 30 Minuten) wäre mir das sogar egal.

Und wenn der Günstigste hier 25 oder 30.000 kostet ist das halt Pech. Ich habe mein letztes Auto als Verbrenner gekauft, winzig, braucht nur 4 bis 4,5 Liter. Für 10.000. Das war die Schmerzgrenze.

Wenn Europa sowas nicht anbieten kann, dann machen es früher oder später die Chinesen, und ich werde es kaufen, mein nächstes Auto wird eins.

Mir ist scheissegal wie ich zur Arbeit komme, die europäischen Luxuskarren brauch ich nicht, dafür ist mir mein Geld zu schade.
