TIL ham stands are a thing.
Aww, that’s sweet, Bezos is paying these personally, right?
Right??
Yeah I’ve seen some YouTube videos and it definitely looks like it’ll be a fun ride if I make it that far.
My friend finally convinced me to try PoE. I generally like it, but it seems… Unpolished? I dunno. Kinda stuttery. Too much going on. It’s like they’ve just accepted and (mostly) implemented every single feature request they ever got without necessarily thinking about how it should work with all the other stuff. Not really a fan of the item/jewel/currency system or the skill tree. Like, I just want to play the game and kill monsters and make things go boom, this is too much work and planning.
I do love the carnage, though… When my level 5 or 6 fighter guy swung a regular white text sword for a regular non skill attack and it took out like 5 zombies at once, that was really nice. Never did that in Diablo.
That’s my highly unscientific opinion after playing for about a week. Sounds like 2 is going to clean up and address some of my complaints, so I’m looking forward to it.
I’ve always been sort of vaguely curious what car company CEOs drive, if/when they aren’t just being chauffeured around in the company limo. Like, what’s in their garage, and if left to their own devices, what would they drive around in to run get groceries or go out to eat or whatever.
Moreso the “regular” car brands than the luxury ones. Like I assume the head of Porsche drives a high end Cayenne or 911 (or both), so that’s less interesting.
But, like, does the CEO of Chevrolet drive a Chevrolet? Does he have a maxed out Suburban? Or does he step up to the Escalade, even if it’s from a different division? Or does he eschew GM entirely and go for the Rolls/Bentley, or a pasta rocket?
In this case, it looks like Ford’s CEO is driving the direct competition, which is interesting. Makes sense, I suppose, though it’s not at all the answer I expected.
Nope, not really, it’s another meme I’ve seen that this reminded me of. Same kind of premise, look at all these dates that overlap kind of thing. Fax machine invented, samurai still a thing, Lincoln still a thing, therefore samurai sent fax to Lincoln.
Since this one brought up the samurai too, I just thought it would be funny to merge them together and have the samurai in this party be that same one that supposedly sent the fax.
Was that the samurai that sent a fax to Abraham Lincoln?
No idea. Yamaha was doing pianos long before they were doing motorcycles, so it can’t be them. I can’t think of a company that started with motorcycles and then moved into pianos.
Being right and being suddenly under a car are not mutually exclusive.
Thirded. Fork is great.
Chili, nacho cheese sauce, and diced onions.
Sed Porttitor isn’t even that good, I dunno why they need it on their menu a half a dozen times.
Lil Brudder was always my favorite. He has the heart of a champion!
I have an orange pi zero 2 and run Obico’s octoprint image on it. Works great.
I read that as “water elephant” at first.
There’s a lot more chances to jump off your float for a sec and enjoy the scenery on a long lazy river than there is on a water slide.
Something like the reset button on the Prusa MK4 screen maybe?
Blizzard cinematics have always been fantastic. The fact that the stupid Warcraft movie was anything other than “let’s give the cinematics team 90 minutes to show off” is a tragedy.
Not sure if this is really what you’re asking about, but there are some laser cutting/engraving add-ons you can get. Basically replaces the hot end with a laser. After I upgraded to a Prusa MK4, I’m thinking about getting one of those for my old E3v2 and turning it into a laser cutter.
#5 is not a fact about George Washington Carver.
