Hi I’m Holly! My pronouns are they/them, and she/her.
Extremely opinionated and can write walls of texts for very small passions.
I’m also anxious so if I interact with you and then disappear, I’m sorry I got overwhelmed!

I suck at math and believe that if you can think critically and solve problems, you can program. It is possible to learn how to break down a mathematical formula into its components and have the computer compute. You can’t proof your work on your own at first, but there are tools that can.
Depending on what you’re doing, you may even learn the math as you go like I did with game dev and vector math. Like any skill, it takes practice.
No mention of xsnow? I’m getting old hehe
Another one for Cyberpunk. Its the only game I put my hearing aids in to play 100% of the time and sometimes I’ll just sit at the main menu until the music loops.
I see they’ve finally started the Extinguish phase.
I can see why Steam seems to have a monopoly on PC gaming. Pretty much everybody uses Steam as a launcher and store, and Valve has seen success with the Steam Deck so thats the hardware field also covered. They even managed to upset Nintendo when the Switch emulator was showcased lol.
A good size of the fanbase are also massive Valve fanboys, so there is a lot of brand loyalty, making the service have a larger presence than others.
At the end of the day, the fact remains is that there are other storefronts, launchers, and Valve has even opened up the Steam Deck’s specs and OS. Theres like, no monopoly there. I hope the parent commenter can eventually see that.
What monopoly? If I have to choose between GOG, Steam, Epic, Ubisoft, Blizzard, Rockstar, EA, and others I am going with the least user-hostile, and the one that has Linux support.
Steam is the only one that actually cares about the quality of a service, so maybe look at that instead of crying monopoly.
The article says €5 “apiece” which is €60 for the whole family unless I’m wrong in my understanding? Enough money flows into the local economy without tourists needing to be forced to “contribute” even further. Thus, hostile.
Venice has been pointing to longer-term tourists as key to its survival since they tend to spend more. Brugnaro said in no way does the new day-tripper contribution discourage tourism overall, but just seeks to manage it better.
We tend to stay in Italy for 2 or 3 weeks at a time, with our lodging being in between multiple destinations in the surrounding regions. Venice is off the table if it is an extra €60 per day. It would also cost significantly more in terms of travel if lodging was also in Venice. We would rather spend the money in Piran or Koper, so the “contribution” is doing its job in managing.
For what its worth, even though we are Dutch, we refuse to visit Amsterdam for the same reason and instead stay in the surrounding cities. A tourist tax is simply a local government giving up on finding real solutions and instead is hoping to price people out of visiting. If Venetians are really worried about sinking, they can ask us for help. We have a bit of experience with keeping the sea away 😅
Thanks for sharing, it seems like my family’s next vacation will be in Slovenia again, which is just as beautiful and less expensive/hostile.
Vacations are expensive enough without the added tourist tax.
Did it work? How about bitch? That one came up often when searching to see where I fucked up with my info.
My mistake, I meant .ml, accidentally conflated the two.
I do come across a lot of removed while browsing on my .world account when the blahaj is being iffy, not sure what that is from.
Some of them coughlemmy.mlcough has a swear filter

I started around the 2.x days not long after switching from Windows. At the time I was using gamemaker studio 1,6 and it would not launch so i went on a search for “free open source game engine” and a bunch of videos from Bastiaan Olij were at the top of search so I gave it a try.
Its been a ride. :)
I had the same issue and used MenuLibre to hide the entire lsp directory.
I’m afraid I can’t answer that, It’s been quite a while. I think qutebrowser is the one that ships with it?
Puppy Linux is what I shove on old Atom netbooks
THIS. Painting nails is like painting anything else - prep is 90% of the work. Note: I do not use a nail buffer at all until the end. I find that the surface becomes too smooth for polish to stick to, so I use it only for a finishing touch.
Here’s my process:
My usual products:
KIKO strengthening base coat
essie polish
essie top coat
Rimmel 60 second super shine top coat
My black polish is quite cute, its essie Liquorice
EDIT: I finish with essie cuticle oil after everything has completely dried and hardened.
Also, another note: As stated above, capping the nail helps prevent chipping from the tips of the nails
EDIT 2: formatting
UltiMC launcher - no torrents needed. Its a “cracked” fork of MultiMC launcher. If having a custom name and skin are important, it supports ely.by.
