Proton-GE has had the Wow64 feature for a while now that can play older 32-bit titles under 64-bit, so it shouldn’t be long before a truly 64-bit steam experience is available.

If only Steam would look at this redesign video and make the whole thing a lot better:
I gave up on EA a long time back, and them not making Alice: Asylum was the final nail in their coffin.

You mean like Batocera, there are a few Os’ that boot straight from usb/sd and let you run emulated games.

If you are benchmarking between Windows and Linux dont use Ubuntu with the gnome desktop, it’s fucking aweful, use Kubuntu with KDE Plasma 6.4 instead running a wayland session, it’s so much more performant and even gives my games a boost.

Will stick with my Steam Deck thank you very much.

Kubuntu 25.04 with Steam .deb, Heroic .deb and Firefox .deb installed and snaps disabled, runs like a charm.

Build Bazzite on the latest Ubuntu stable with snaps removed and 32-bit libraries installed alongside Steam .deb

Running a windows game using Proton-GE 10.4 and a Wayland desktop is even faster still.
NO it’s not worth buying, too expensive for PS3 graphics, expensive games, locked ecosystem you can be banned from which essentially bricks your device and a low repairability score from iFixit. Get a steam deck instead.

I would appreciate wayland support in proton and a switch to use it per game.
If your pc is that old try Linux Mint 22.1 XFCE edition, or Bodhi Linux 7.0 HWE
Sable, Supraland.

I’d much rather buy a Steam Deck and run Switch emulation on it, knowing I can buy games a whole lot cheaper on Steam sales.

Steam OS, Batocera, Bazzite, Linux Mint… so many great distros for gaming alone.

There are so many photos of Earth taken from space, you just need to visit Nasa’s own website to view the gallery, also why would they ever be faked ? stop listening to conspiracy nuts.

I hope this is a joke cause Luanti sucks, stick with the already well known Minetest.
One can only assume they would have gotten a release bonus which is why they held back the release date and fired 30+ devs before it actually makes an appearance.
