Try to understand that influencers and content creators are human beings and not infallible. I don’t think Mark or Derek are the greatest people in the world, but they are trying to put educational and entertaining content out into the world, and don’t seem to be malicious in intent.
Give them a break and see where they land down the road. If they turn out to be trash, judge em all you want. As someone that doesn’t spend the time and effort to pass my experience on to others, I’ll give them a bit of wiggle room on the politics associated with operating in the public attention economy.
Might be a reasonable argument if you didn’t have 76 years of his rotten behavior as precedent in processing the decision made by a jury of his peers…
Get an EV and you’ll never have to go to a gas station again. None of the chargers I’ve seen have ads on them.
Well, I’m no balcony-ologist, but I’d think that having multiple brackets tying into the building structure on each floor would help add strength to each platform. I wouldn’t necessarily trust it with my life, but it seems better than what I thought I saw at first.

What happens if a business is losing money and can’t afford to employ its whole staff? Do they have to shut the whole business down instead of letting a certain percentage of underperformers go without cause? How is that handled in Europe?
I am genuinely asking because I have only ever experienced American employment.
Communism and fascism are not the same thing. They are opposite ends of the political spectrum.
Same same. I had a thermos I accidentally left hot cocoa (made with milk) in for about 6 months when it fell behind my car seat. I thought I was going to have to throw it out because it smelled so horribly rancid. I booked some water and flushed it out and used white vinegar for a few overnight soaks and it got the smell out. Like a brand new thermos…
It was on sale for 12 wing wangs last week. May still be on sale… check it if you want
Based on the games in your list, you should check out Horizon: zero dawn and the sequel, Forbidden West. They’re great.
You have a choice. Use their service with the shitty ads or find something else to do.
It sucks, but that’s what you’ve got.
This illustrates the “floor to dick ratio”, from Silicon Valley’s ‘Mean Jerk Time Equation’ perfectly.
…And I missed the last question.
I don’t have them on my home because my HOA disallows them. I did, however, initiate and helped manage installation of systems on 3 separate family members’ homes and since I had already done the research and the financial benefit worked out for each of them. One was 6 years ago, one was 3 years ago, and one was 2 years ago and none of them have any complaints.
The 6 yr old system is almost paid off and has already reached its pay-off value since electricity prices keep rising… meaning, they haven’t paid off the system, but would have spent more in electricity in the 6 years they have had it if they would not have installed it.
I am currently in the process of moving out of a neighborhood with an HOA and plan on installing a system as soon as I get into my new home.
Even in that case, you are overpaying in the early years and getting free electricity for the rest of the life of the system. If you can only get a 7 year loan, you may have a higher bill for 7 years, but no bill for 18 years while electricity prices continue rising is a pretty awesome benefit.
You still weigh the balance to figure out what is economically the best option.
Take a slice of white bread and a single slice of American cheese. Microwave just long enough to make the cheese slightly burn… the phase just after bubbly will get harder when it cools. Top with hot sauce or spicy ketchup… but not too much. If you can find it, there is an Indian curry spruced ketchup that is awesome.
