My point is it serves no purpose here.

So explicitly not an expert.
Ah, but they don’t know about the anti-wooden whistle wax I dipped my ribbon in!
Quick way to end up with Calvin-ball magic. “Oh, but the red ribbon disintegrates if I toot my wooden whistle, making it doubly weak to fire!”
What exactly has he done to warrant considering this? He’s a yt star, not a privacy expert.
The opening is always a bit naturally DDOS’d. It’ll smooth out.

“That’s great! Let’s give it to someone else!” - some stupid ass exec who can only see ahead one financial quarter at a time.
The fact your seeking feedback suggests no, but it was certainly a bad move, both as a DM and as an uncle. Punishing anyone, though especially children, without explaining why is mean. You have a responsibility to clearly communicate problems with others as an authority figure at the table and in their life. I don’t necessarily think the punishment was unreasonable, but if it’s not explained to them, it just comes across as arbitrary and vindictive.
Imo, the best way to handle issues like that is to set the rules and consequences, making them clear to everyone, and to be consistent in their application. Letting people off or being vindictive will just exacerbate things.

Ech@lemm.eeto Games@lemmy.world•The Outer Worlds 2 Can't Be Anti-Capitalist When It's Charging Us $80 To Play ItEnglish819·1 month agoLol, the cognitive dissonance of whining about capitalism because their vidya game got a little more expensive. Not only is the entitlement and hypocrisy off the charts, there are so many ways to play games for cheap and/or free, the criticism is entirely moot. Don’t like the price a company is asking for for an entirely optional commodity? Don’t fucking pay it. It’s not that hard.
Maybe ask them to block your account? That would keep them from seeing anything you talk about, though it’d also block any other communication here if that’s a problem.

it doesn’t make sense TO ME. Based on what I was taught
Why do you think other people are different than you?
Hah, I see. Thanks!
Eli5?
I can imagine exactly how they’d say this XD
I did find my way to the nexus’ collections (though thank you for the tip), which would’ve gone smoothly if I hadn’t fumbled a fresh install beforehand with an issue I already addressed in the first install.
Not a great feeling when you realize the last 10 hours of frustration are entirely self inflicted XD
Ech@lemm.eeto Patient Gamers@sh.itjust.works•The Witcher III is currently on sale for 3€ until 25th MayEnglish3·2 months agoThere is a continuing story, but the first two are very different games, even from each other. They’re certainly fun, but won’t really be indicative of anything other than if you like the story or not, which you could mostly gather from wikis or video summaries. All that to say - it likely won’t change your experience of 3 if you don’t play the previous two directly.
Somehow even less useful, since the source can’t even be verified.
