Old graphics sure but mechanically Pokémon games kinda suck, especially the older ones. I’ll be honest I love the collection and monster part of the game but everything else is simply bad and I usually give up after 10 hours. It’s such a pointless slog.

I feel weirdly releived tbh. My server is pretty old and I was dreading of trying to get back and remember everything or feeling bad for restarting but now the choice has been made for me lol
Ship of Fools is -60% on steam right now and I can’t recommend this game enough. It’s a rogue lite where you both need to protect a ship from monsters maning the cannons and it’s an absolute blast! It has good progression and it’s intense but not in annoying sort of way.
I’m not big on Stardew Valley but this dude is an absolute gem!

Especially if you take a look at the whole world outside of US bubble. You think people in Asia and Africa yearn for 70s? You think people in Easrten Europe has any fondness of Soviet occupation? Future shock is shockingly great in their eyes.
I think the more apt issue here is simply the fact that US empire is falling as this shock does not replicate everywhere so clearly it’s not universal. Most places benefited greatly from information flow and imo it’s a very clear net gain.
