Ooh, I love this channel. Gonna save it for later.

Is that not the expected outcome of hiking to India?
Bushido Ball is awesome. I’ve been trying to get a cherry on it lately but it’s pretty hard.
This sounds amazing. Any chance it runs on Linux?
Were they? Last year they had Mario and Zelda and the year before they had Elden Ring. This year doesn’t feel particularly strong.
The thing is, there’s just so much stuff on Steam that even if you only care about the crème de la crème (hell, even if you only care about a specific genre), you’ll still find yourself with a wishlist longer than you’ll possibly have the time to play. I often go “ZOMG! STEAM SALE!!!” so in my case it’s slowly becoming a backlog but I do intend to play everything I buy.
Huh, I thought this would be about a new device. I guess Anbernic’s release schedule has spoiled me.
And just for the sake of completion, yes, it also has an Epic store page.
There’s a bright side to the ZA/UM mess though: since the team that worked on Disco has split into a bunch of new studios we’re getting at least three spiritual successors instead of Disco Elysium 2.
They opened up a genre of gaming to people that would have never even considered it.
Can confirm, that was my case. Before this game the closest thing to a turn-based CRPG I had played was KOTOR, now I’ve already purchased DOS:2 and I’m looking forward to Larian’s next title.
The fact that there aren’t many alternatives likely means that making a Sims-like game isn’t as simple as it looks. That being said, there are a bunch of life sims under developement right now (probably because EA is doing a terrible job) such as Paralives, Inzoi and Alterlife.
It becomes even more impressive when you remember how many amazing games came out in 2023. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Pikmin 4, Street Fighter 6, Alan Wake 2, The Talos Principle 2, Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon, Final Fantasy XVI, Hi-Fi Rush, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Lies of P, Pizza Tower, most of these would win GOTY if they had come out this year instead.
Cat does it because it knows it is cute and therefore can get away with it.
Yt-dlp. It’s basically the only way I download music nowadays.
I don’t think it’s that deep. Deadlock, the game they mention in their rant, also has a pretty diverse roster. I think Concord just looks very generic both in gameplay and in character designs.
Good. Let them cook.
ConcernedApe comes to mind. I think he has actually said that a big reason why he made his game is so people would listen to his music.
Region 5 looks like they said “screw it, let’s just throw all the countries left into a single region and call it a day”
I have about 30h in it. I did play Brotato but it was too fast-paced for me.
There should be a way to see the content from different communities with the same name but from different instances in the same page, like some sort of automatic multireddit. The content would probably be limited to instances federated with your home instance but even then it’s something I would like to have.
