2·3 months agoNot sure if there’s a difference but I have a steam deck connected to a 2.1 capable dock and it works even with VRR (although it sporadically forgets that VRR is a thing and I have to reboot the TV)

No Stupid Questions@lemmy.world•How long after starting Vitamin D supplements should you notice results?
2·4 months agoI don’t think it necessarily is the reflective properties etc. but it has been shown that doing stuff in nature is beneficial to mental health. And since people likely usually spend less time in nature in winter, doing so would improve mood.
Yeh this will make it a tough choice for me. Have an OLED TV and playing something like Hades 2 in 4K120 would be really nice. Maybe a USBC hub/adapter could do the trick but that’s kinda weird and an extra cost. Definitely dampened my hype for it sadly.

Fuck you for putting a perfectly fine dark mode picture onto a white background.
Correlation != Causation
As others have pointed out we have better lives today because of scientific and technological progress not because of capitalism.
People seriously underestimate how shitty most alternatives are. And any time I see people hating on Jira I never see a proper alternative mentioned.
The date stamp is visible in the picture. How’s opening and sniffing it faster/more convenient?

Yeh people with ADHD could just educate their parents and teachers about how their brains work differently. And how do they not just diagnose themselves and get the meds to function in a society that is clearly not made for them to succeed. Total failure that’s entirely their fault.
