Yeah unfortunately nothing works like it did during TNG-era anymore. There’s no more syndication, no soft continuity resets, no time to try different things. Every season of a show has to be a 12 hour movie, with every episode integral to the last. You just can’t do that for more a handful of seasons before show runs out of steam dramatically. Shows have be in the groove from the start or they’re just going to be cancelled.

It’s why I don’t even bother torrenting any series anymore. It’s a failure of the modern enshitified financified mega monopoly dystopia rather than the shows themselves though.

Though it should also be noted I don’t live in the USA, so I won’t be standing side by side with you guys. Not physically anyway.

One day I need to share a screenshot of how youtube looks on Firefox after a few tweeks. I’ve used Ublock Origin to block everything I didn’t like. It’s literally just the player, description, the comments and a link to the settings and my subscriptions.

But I’m sure some of you TV and film guys will remember his other characters such as Cop, Young Cop, FBI Agent, Agent, FBI Agent, (wow FBI Agent must have been a real hit if they brought that character back multiple times in completely different TV shows) Mustachioed Cop and Police Officer #2, Various, and Various Roles. I’m guessing Various Roles is some sort villain character he played?

I wonder if any of the real FBI agents who arrested him were like “You know Mr. Johnston, your portrayal of FBI agent is what inspired me to join the FBI?”
