Es tut mir leid, Deutsch war meine erste Sprache, aber ich habe das meiste vergessen und lerne es immer noch neu; ich habe das nicht verstanden.
Ich komme aus dem Süden Brasiliens, und wir nennen die wilde Sorte “Ananas”, die normale Sorte ist “Abacaxi”.

21·2 months agoIf I time traveled to the same geographical region, considering I’m in South Brazil, if I don’t get immediately killed by some jungle animal or tropical disease, I’d probably end up starting a pandemic among the natives.
It is a nice backpack tho…

Iguaçu Falls, on the border between Brazil and Argentina. Nearby you could also visit Itaipu Dam, formerly largest in the world.
Going a bit into the same Brazilian state of Paraná, there’s also the amazing Vila Velha park, with incredible sandstone formations.
Brazil did much worse slavery, but the racism is “softer”, there was a moment when 80% of the population was enslaved black/mixed people (indigenous were mostly just genocided away).
Because most people are mixed, the racism here today is just on looks instead of ancestry, and AFAIK less violent.
192·4 months agoAbortion is sometimes the less monstrous alternative in a horrible situation, and it should never be seen as less than that.
Women should have enough social safety nets that abortion would never even cross their minds.

Personally I prefer it starting on Sunday, but also here with Portuguese being the main language it only makes sense to start on Sunday, Monday to Friday are called second-fair, third-fair, fourth-fair, fifth-fair, and sixth-fair. Fair as in either market or festival.
Similar to abortion, while there are legitimate cases, the capitalistic system will pressure people into doing it to increase profit and power to the elites.
