mpv can play youtube and many other videos from video hosting services through yt-dlp but it can’t play DRM content like Netflix or Spotify MPV also can play video from TTY so you don’t need graphical interface like xorg or wayland to play videos

I think this reason is stupid. Why can’t there be a duopoly in the browser market like in the phone market? Even if there is no firefox, there will still be safari on its own engine

You can play windows games on mac with using a crossover (uses wine and some open source software)

But I don’t think you would buy a mac for games

I think it’s more like shaders with sharpness that don’t look bad

I think the best player is mpv because it supports real-time anime upscaling with plugins

This site works as an app it forces the browser to download content directly from reddit and doesn’t proxy it

firefox blocks reddit thinking that these are trackers (technically, I think these are trackers, but which transmit content) the site works fine if you disable tracking protection in firefox

I think you can’t change gtk4 theme with gui but you can change it in text editor gtk4 config file is in .config/gtk4.0/

Now I can use ssd in Hyprland
