Damn, I used to watch GB growing up and he was one of my favorites. Loved how even when he was getting his ass kicked on the field you could still see the guy smiling as he lined up for another play.
Fuck man why did you have to do this?

YouTube: Has ads and sells your data like every other online service
Also YouTube: Doesn’t pay creators much to the point where creators often have in-video advertisements but expects audiences on the platform to pay for an adless experience
Sure, if they’re abandoned.
The issue is that we have so, so many stray cats. So, so many cats left in shelters. We do not need people to breed more cats just so people can have their very expensive and very specifically bred designer furbaby. We need people to take care of the ones that already exist and are already struggling.
If only more people adopted in general instead of spending money on designer pets.
Same when I’m getting some Tums. They think it sounds like greenies.
Can relate. All my cats think my pill bottles are the same as the treat shaker. I always end up giving them a treat afterwards because I feel bad.
It’s a shitposting meme. The poster has this pinned on their twitter:
That said… I have heard horror stories about poor theater staff finding cucumbers after the 50 shades premiere. Some of it was just people memeing and trying to prank but I’m not entirely sure about all of it.
Progress is progress. Any amount of empathy in this world is welcome.
Yeah, I just snip the tips on the front ones usually. I’ve been doing it since he was little and while he doesn’t appreciate it he has never fought or clawed me in the process of it.
You mean hope that they too don’t become subject to enshittification? I don’t have a lot of faith in that.
Besides that, Google is controlling as fuck. They might keep fucking themselves over but there’s no way they won’t start attempting to ruin things for the rest of us.
More like when you Google and half the solutions you find contradict themselves, with some of the responses to the solutions discussing the dangers.
It’s not entirely true though. It is a lot of work. It doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be done, but often times unless you can incentivize it then they won’t.
Even then, many companies find ways around it, such as dealing with carbon credits, which basically allow them to continue harming the environment for a cost, because apparently it’s still cheaper that way.
Majority of the wealthy higher ups in corporate management don’t care about reducing emissions. They care about making their companies look good.
Talking about working towards climate change goals or talking about supporting marginalized groups is easy. Actually doing something is a lot different, but even today very few people look for actions.
Just let it happen at this point. I get the idea of trying to moderate the content so that it’s not a bunch of thirst streams and so that there are actually people doing various activities on there, but people act like this because it gets views.
Just let people get it out of their systems. Might take a few years, but eventually there will be people looking to watch regular people playing video games, making art, playing music or just talking again.
People are fake. A lot of online spaces outside of spots like Facebook (which is Gen X/boomer territory) are more so left leaning, so a lot of people tend to spout what they think is popular. Some might believe it but won’t put any efforts into practicing those beliefs, while others just simply don’t believe what they’re sharing.
Pride month is a good example of this. As soon as the months over most people who were spamming their socials with all sorts of LGBT support messages could care less.
Surprised it’s taken this long for people to grasp it.
We control the world’s reserve currency, and hold the ability to fry any country’s economy via economic sanctions whenever we want. We have the largest military in the world and that military is set up for the purpose of invasion. Yeah, China has a massive navy, but their ships are tiny, most likely for the purpose of defending their oceans and eventually taking Taiwan. We on the other hand have more carrier ships than anyone else, all for the purpose of being able to flex our might on anyone in the world.
People used to say that we attempted to police the world. I don’t hear it nearly as much anymore, but it’s accurate. We throw our weight around. We’re the world’s bully.
How was it whataboutism? I didn’t see anyone comparing him to Trump when I was replying. Hitler is absolutely not the any kind of standard that we should be comparing most politicians to hopefully. I’m also painfully aware that Trump is far worse in regards to foreign policy. I can imagine him offering further support to Israel even.
Look. I’ve already resolved to vote for Biden. There really isn’t much choice, but that doesn’t mean I have to ignore what he’s responsible for. Nor should history forget it either. If that somehow hinders his campaign, then so be it. Anyone who votes for Biden without these considerations is an accessory to the genocide though.
I really dislike how this always comes down to whataboutism.
I already consider Biden to be the lesser of the two evils here. That doesn’t mean I have to look away from his actions though, nor does it mean I have to support them.
The general public has sadly been guilted into the idea that dealing with the vast majority of pollution is their problem. Don’t get me wrong, there is some personal responsibility, but much of it is out of our hands.
He’s a far cry from it for certain, but he shares a considerable amount of responsibility for what is occurring in Gaza that a lot of people feel uncomfortable with that.
I’m sure some people have already forgotten because China and Russia recently vetoed the last conflict resolution proposed in the U.N. but don’t let that stop you from remembering that our U.N. ambassador, appointed by the President who can revoke that appointment, issued multiple vetoes against multiple Gaza conflict resolution proposals previously.
I wish I could say this instead of having to schedule my vacation time a month in advance.
