The younger ones didn’t mind it, for the older ones I did it myself while on visit.

The server stays on, always. I have like ten people using the services on there over tailscale. There’s a kvm, should something really unexpected happen.
More advanced hardware from a country the US see as an adversary sounds like it should be great for the stock of Lockheed and Co., actually.
I don’t even get it. Like, make a pop up with a short blurb explaining the feature. Most users will probably opt in, and you don’t piss off the ones that don’t want this.
Linux distro sib hug.
Hmh. Guess with opensuse tumbleweed, I’m a minority of a minority. Oh well, I don’t mind.
Wenn ich FDP-Politiker wäre, würde ich dieser Tage wohl auch trinken, und da passiert es schnell, dass aus einer Zahl zwei Zahlen werden.
Well, people love to complain. I didn’t feel Inquisition was as good as Origins, but I still had fun with it, and I assume the same is gonna be true for Veilguard.
Anyways, that’s curios. I think the Dragon Age Games are some of the few I own on Origin. I’d be kinda surprised if EA made the effort to patch the games on their own client, though.
Might try running it tomorrow, out of curiosity.
What problems did you have with it? Still runs surprisingly well for me. Haven’t tried Veilguard yet, but plan to as soon as I have some time. Felt that none of the sequels where able to match Origins yet, though.
Banks seem to be hit or miss, happy that mine works. Would rather switch Banks than use a stock Rom, though.
All the Uber stuff works in Browser, both eats and their fake taxi stuff.
Not having a subtle reminder to eat at McDonald’s is probably better for you.
Honestly, if your app could be a website, and includes services not on your website, fuck you, I’m gonna go to the competition.
Forsa vom 03.12. hat 3% FDP; 4% Linke, BSW; 11% sonstige.
Yes. Regardless of the second part. Don’t invest in private prisons, even if it’s sums that would seem inconsequential to the industry as a whole.
Edit:If it’s invest in, in the sense of, buy the stock of, I’d still say yes. It still contributes to the success of the industry, even if just minuscully so.
Never got down with FreeCAD. BricsCAD has a native Linux version and works well for me, but it’s expensive. Recently, I’ve moved over to OpenSCAD. Works very well for me, but it might be hit or miss, depending on what UX you like, and what functions you need.
With a properly packaged python app, you shouldn’t even notice you’re running a python app. But yeah, for some reason there’s a lot of them that … aren’t.
Fun cat, sure, but tf is that Gucci/star-of-David flooring.
Never liked that argument. It’s essentially “Why, don’t you like immigration, dummy? Don’t you know immigrants are easily exploited to do hard labour cheaply?”
I’m not saying it isn’t true, especially in the west, but in my eyes, there are much more moral arguments for immigration.
Work in Germany, both in some retail jobs as a student, as well as as a dev, sometimes in rather ‘fancy’ office environments. No one ever cared, though I only ever cursed about a situation, never a person.
Looks fine and upright in Thunder.
Depends. My mother’s computer didn’t have the hardware necessary to drive Win11, so I explained the options, and she said she’d try Linux.
She’s on Fedora Workstation on both her Desktop and Laptop now, both relatively standard HP Computers (the Desktop being very, very old, however).
She can connect to her work server via Citrix and access the software she needs. She can take work calls via MicroSIP. She can edit documents locally with onlyoffice. She can do whatever else she needs in the browser. None of this needed any non-standard drivers or packages, except for MicroSIP, for which Wine needed to be installed, though it worked without any special configuration.
So it can work perfectly well. Depending on the use case.
