That dude looks like the villain from an 80’s buddy cop film.

Linux Gaming@lemmy.world•Battlefield 6 will be a unplayable on Linux systems due to the anti-cheatEnglish
1·4 months agoAfter 2042, I wasn’t very interested in this title to begin with so it isn’t much of a loss. Gamers in general don’t really care about rootkits (but will rage over launchers?), but I’m curious to see how well this will do after the trash that was 2042.

Some places like diners and cafes do and you pay there with a cashier. But most bars and sit down restaurants have it inaccessible. As to why, I couldn’t say for sure, but I imagine it is to prevent theft of cash.
Sure, but you need to pay, and if all you have is a card, they’re not going to let you into an employee area because you’re being weird about a very basic interaction. In fact, that’s even more reason to not allow you into an employee area for their safety. When you’re in another country, you have to go with their flow, regardless of what you do at home.
I don’t believe you’d enjoy an interaction with our police…

Honestly, this whole thing is hilarious. My interest was limited to start with after 2042. Now it doesn’t matter because I can’t play anyway (I’m not playing a shooter on console). Furthermore, it’s apparently a pain in the ass for Windows users, too. The incompetence is really incredible to watch.
