  • But the comments do matter?

The stock market traded on speculation of future value, not current value. If tesla increases profit by $1M , their market cap doesnt increase by $1M. It increases or decreases by the speculative future value.

If protestors are going to be prosecuted, the perceived value of the company increases because theyre will be less negative press.

It also leads to, "what else is the president going to do to help musk’s company? " and that list is endless, and speculation runs wild.

  • She does help people. Shes a family law attorney and she deals with some real crazies and some real shitty situations. If shes getting a person/kids out of a domestic abuse situation, that other person gets real hot when they get a restraining order against their kids.

Or some other levels of crazy where her client believes their husband is trying to kill them by slowly poisoning them. She had a client bring in a bottle of shampoo to be analyzed because she was sure thats how he was doing it. Also that he was breaking in and spying on her and yada yada, but literally no evidence, so she couldnt give her any legal support. Well that person feels wronged. And hey, theyve been in your office where you have pictures painted by your kids so they know you have kids. If they see you go to your car in the parking lot with those kinda stickers, the crazy can continue (this is the person that actually threatened her father).

I mean, my spouse has received death threats because of her line of work. We have 2 small children and we make sure they have no online presence at all (no pictures, comments, tags, etc), and we intentionally make sure to not have anything identifiable like this on our car. Our other family members have been included in threats before. If someone, for any reason, is targeting you, youre actually giving them a ton of information. Its easier to just not put it on your car and not risk it

Ive never been diagnosed, but the more I read, the more im convinved ive been functioning adhd my whole life.

Today i learned about nicotine. The only time id smoke while sober was the last 2 weeks of the quarter when i was cramming for finals/doing labs etc. After my last deadline, i wouldnt do it for 10 more weeks, but would hit it hard during finals again. Always kept me focused and motivated

  • That first part reads as “get rid of everything I don’t like.” I fundamentally disagree and so do the devs. Their core design philosophy was that it was 1 cohesive world. It should stay that way.

They did start balancing weapons between game modes through design. Making perks take kills streaks or rapid kills, or by picking up drops from killing monsters, etc. Things that activate perks that can easily be completed in pve, but not so easily in pvp.

Their biggest problem, frankly, was that they didn’t do d3 or sunsetting anymore. The game got too bloated and unmanageable. You didn’t need new loot to do new activities and they just got stale. I agree they shouldn’t have removed all that content, and the story should be replayable, like in D1… which, had they released a D3, that content probably would have existed in D2 still.

This was our company too. They struck some sort of deal with chat gpt that we use their base code, but aren’t connected to their machine learning. Feels like a pretty reasonable approach in my opinion.

So our training was, “use ours. Don’t use anyone else’s because we don’t want our proprietary information out there to never be able to be scrubbed from the internet”
