It then goes on to detail a reversal in that profit trend which has since gone away (it’s a 2022 article). Nvidia is making huge fat profits again, since everyone has quadrupled down on AI.

Yes, chips are expensive. But the profit margins of companies like Nvidia are growing much faster than the cost of silicon.

That’s not what this award is. This is the “old game that continues to get lots of new content” award. RDR2 hasn’t had new content since 2022.
This game has been out for a while. The team is well past the debut of their creative baby, but being the good parents they are, these devs continue to nurture and support their creation. This game, to this day, is still getting new content after all these years.
I’d say the devs need to have done something with the game for it to be a labor of love.
The last time RDR2 got an actual content update was September 2022.
