“The solution to pollution is dilution.”
The body has evolved methods of protecting and ridding itself of bad things. It sucks at the time, but don’t try to go against what your body is trying to fix.

Just don’t talk to any police that may call or show up. Because even suggesting that you’re angry at them is enough to give them protection.
blowing around wet leaves with a leaf blower.
One does not simply blow wet leaves with a leaf blower. It is folly.
It was more of a statement than a question, and “is that what you saw” more rhetorical to get Pippin to tell what else he saw.
The parallel is with not having great choices against him, as well as an established GOP who could pull the votes when they need them. Outside of that, the problems and crimes, and the level of insanity were different.
What about Reagan? Same parallel of weak opposition, for a much longer time since Bush followed, and Clinton was more centrist. Perhaps that’s a start of the movement to the center.
Elected, but they didn’t say who elected him.
Obi-Wan and Padme are by far the two likely ones, but there is a point where Anakin realizes he’s going down the wrong path while still not on the dark side, I believe when he kills Dooku. That’s one place as well.
Several? I only see one brain cell.
It’s a byproduct of our society to ask what value your work does rather than you as a person. A better question would be “what stuff are you interested in?” I bet taking that spin will actually make people stop and think a second not only because it’s not the normal question, but people have lots of interests and now they’ll have to pick one that they want to share.
And it isn’t a hard rule the President has to nominate a VP, although that makes some things more difficult.
At some point this might become part of the software, but for now it has to be an external filter. Some apps as mentioned, and when Kbin was starting off some users got together to create addons for it, some that would actively filter with varying success. The idea is simple, making it work well is not. There also might be addons for browsers that can help filter things, but they would need to be set up to find certain properties of the message code that are around that keyword and remove them selectively to filter cleanly.
You didn’t mention long or short hair. I’ve always had short hair and while the hair problem exists especially if you don’t keep up with it, it’s not terrible. Brushing them regularly will catch the problem at the source and maybe reduce the shedding amount overall.

I liked the video because I don’t think I did a decade or so ago when I saw it the first time. I recognized what it was from the title.
Do not ascribe agency to the polyhedron.
Both Florida amendments were designed to fail. This is the same state where when I was there had an amendment for high speed rail, that passed! And then the government decided it would cost too much, so F the people’s choices.
Josh Stein (the winning Democrat) has been a popular vote for years now in other local races. It wasn’t a given win, but he had a lot of backing historically. Robinson hasn’t been popular as Lieutenant Governor, and his latest stuff didn’t help. But the case another brought up is how he still got 40%. And that’s after Trump cut ties. The rural area amazes me sometimes.
I’d love to know the breakdown of the 1531 votes for him. Some are probably straight Republican votes down the ballot, and a few ignorant of the news. But I’m sure some heard the news, and voted for him anyway with a shrug.
