Now let’s play polar bear, “oh i’m so sad i have to swim farther because of global warming”. Checkmate bears!
Or the darn tiny speedy monkeys
Definitely interested. Hello Games may have stumbled on the NMS launch, but they’ve more than proven themselves since then!
And then they cheer on your cool tech features, engien choices, and techniques, that really the average consumer doesn’t actually care about.
Yawn - would be interesting to see alternate reality Yahtzee review it when it comes out. I can already hear him complaining about “yet another indie life simulator” or some such.
Vintage Story, on a good server, lots of fun! Haven’t really been playing anything else lately.
Just cancelled my XBox Ultimate Game Pass…bunch of nonsense.
Literally just a rant on Zero Punctuation about “AC” games - Assassin’s Creed, Animal Crossing, Armored Core, I forget the list. (Also Asheron’s Call I guess)
Got in 160 hours or so, enjoyed it and have no regrets buying it. I’ll probably play a little bit again in the future, but not so much. So it was a fine game, but not their best outing for sure.
I maded it to NG+11 I think, once you get Phase Time X you don’t need to do go any further. Actually basically the last run I didn’t buy anything other than some ammo, using whatever I found on the way and since you can have Phase Time on all the time, there’s no challenge (other than the final space battle).
I’m done for now at 136 hours played, next time I get into it, will definitely start a fresh character!
I’m content with my ~120 hours played so far even if I don’t play again. But I probably will, especially with mods or future content. It doesn’t quite have the build flexibility of an elder scrolls game though. Hopefully they’ll add more variants to the bases etc. Generally happy if a game has 40 hours of gameplay and there’s easily 40 hours of content in Starfield.
The NG+ stuff is interesting but after playing it a bunch it’s both a plus and a minus, like it’s neat to have the options there, but also might’ve been better to start actual new characters.
Think I will wait for the new Grim Dawn DLC and Titan Quest 2 instead thanks
Empire was so well played, going from amicable to terrifying. Lee Pace makes that show!
Always reminds me of one of my favorite books (part of a series) The Collapsium by Will McCarthy. A big part of the book is their version of teleporting which does involve destruction and recreation, but while you’re at it you could make more than one copy at the destination…
So they’re all running around in Edgar suits?
Fortunately the research doesn’t need to be redone. I spent a decent amount of time in the first world and now I’m rushing more or less to 10th because I vaguely remembering hearing something happens. Then I might settle down, although I’ll be pretty OP (I kind of am now, some more points in to ship to ship combat for the final battle I think is all that is needed to just rush straight thru)
In theory you get the bonus and can sell them. AFAIK
They almost got me with preorder last night, but I was like nah I’ll just wait and see in the morning. I love how i’ve been reading for weeks that “it’s good they made fast travel hard”, like preparing us for a fast travel MTX. Or it’s the greatest character creator of all time, but to edit after you have to spend more money - the game is basically $100 canadian. Absurd.
