Same view but I also have had it pretty good. Great family and support, passed that on to my kids, and I’ve had a lot of support with great teachers through my years so now I pass that on to those less fortunate and it just does it for me. It’s a great feeling helping others.

However, I did learn a lesson about gas stations (at least the brand I was going to) where I had forgotten to get gas prior to Christmas and had to travel to see family that day. I stopped at the gas station, the pumps weren’t accepting cards and I had to go in. I apologized to the attendant and she said, “don’t apologize. I’m getting triple time and this one day will pay for all of Christmas for my kids.” She was happy as hell to be getting paid what she felt she was worth and it was a quiet day for her.

Not worth it for me personally, and a lot of us I’m sure, but not everyone hates it.

For context, my family of 5 has used 1.7TB/mo on average this year. That’s gaming, video and music streaming, and regular interneting. And all that without downloading large files most of the time, occasional OS updates withstanding for 10 always on devices. We’re on 500/500 fiber and it never skips a beat. Usually the bottleneck is the WiFi being on WiFi 6 or the server on the other end not being able to keep up (Netflix’s Tysons fight comes to mind). I haven’t seen the need to up it to 1G or 2.5G yet. This is with no enforced cap (we’re lucky enough to have competition on the backbone so it’s unlikely to be enforced). The OPs cap would absolutely be a no go in this setup. Not sure what the OP’s usage and needs are though.

Oh a lot of us knew it was a cesspool, at least, it has corners that are in it, it’s no 4chan. What brought the majority here was the CEO lying multiple times about why they were closing public APIs off to third party app makers instead of just telling the truth (we need money to stay in business or make money and we want to control what you see). What I left out is that I don’t know anyone in my family with teeth issues and she definitely does. Her mother had garbage teeth as does her father. But yeah, sugar is bad for you period.

Healthy teeth have a lot to do with genetics too. I’m a once/day brushed (with a powered brush) and never flush unless something’s stuck in my teeth and I don’t get cavities or have other teeth and mouth problems. My wife brushes twice a day, flosses, and uses mouth wash, and has had 12 root canals, and has cavities 25% of the time she gets her cleanings done.

There are two other main differences between us. She loves sugar and I’d prefer anything salty. I’m sure this isn’t helping her and is helping me since sugar is our mouths’ enemy.

Genetic testing basically puts a large amount of doubt on it though. More likely it wasn’t a hybrid than was.

If Brightspeed and GloFiber are fiber then them hands down. We have a local fiber provider in town and it’s rock solid.

If you aren’t uncomfortable you can’t change. But first you have to want to want it. You aren’t really living paycheck to paycheck if you have a healthy savings however, it may be time to move somewhere where you can afford to live for longer and enjoy your nursing career, it’s a noble one after all.

Making and keep friends / lovers is much harder especially if you’re successful financially and career wise. I’d try to find a hobby in the psychology world online. There’s plenty of like minds out there that share the passion. If you want true friends you need to let them not be perfect. Have a great deal of grace and humility with coworkers. Same with finding a mate, even more so.

This is the correct answer. Low fiber diets with a lot processed foods is a major contributor. Eat your vegetables and fruits people, they can save your life.

Oh and get a colonoscopy at 45. 40 if your family has a history of polyps or lower GI cancer.
