Deer imprint pretty hard when they are young. If it was raised from a fawn it would pretty much think it’s human.

That’s why it’s difficult to rehabilitate orphaned deer fawns, because if you don’t do it right they will very likely end up becoming a danger to people by expecting food from strangers and wandering urban environments, causing road hazards and potentially assaulting people who don’t feed them or try to block them from food. Many wildlife rehab centers refuse to take in orphan fawns because the success rate is so low and it takes a lot of resources to do it properly.

It’s also illegal almost everywhere to raise a wild deer fawn as a pet. They may become fairly tame but they are not domesticated and can easily become dangerous. If this deer got spooked it could easily kill that dog with one stomp of the hoof.

I travel domestically a fair bit for work and I always try to look suspicious to get randomly chosen for an extra check because I get to skip the majority of the line up.

So far I’m at like 1 random check out of every 3 times I travel. Saves like 30 minutes of standing in a hot line up with no air circulation.

Yeah I can’t imagine choosing to game on a device that has no physical controls and just touchscreen which is what I imagine this device would have to be if it’s foldable.

It will probably also be over $1000 if it’s a foldable touchscreen and have shitty hardware so may as well get a steam deck if you’re intent is gaming.

If I want to game on a touchscreen I’ll do it on my phone because it’s convenient. I’m not carrying a second device around for touchscreen gaming.

One thing I never see addressed with the dream of ending cars and just having bikes is how do first responders operate? How do you transport unconscious people to the hospital? Put out an apartment fire? Get to an armed robbery in time to stop it?

Bikes are great but they also aren’t an end all be all solution to society.

My zoo buries them on the premises. I know of a camel, a moose and a few other things got buried there. They have a large plot of land that is used to dispose of organic waste like branches and trees, old compost, etc until it’s full and needs to be tricked out to the landfill. They just bury the animals under the ground there.

The zoo near me a few decades ago had an accident where a lot of their reindeer got pregnant before the male could get neutered. They kept all the female offspring but they couldn’t risk having two males in the same enclosure and no nearby zoos needed male reindeer or also couldn’t accommodate them so they had to put them down and ended up feeding them to the carnivores in the zoo.

We need to try and bankrupt any company that produces fax machines.

Even if it were an exact clone I don’t think a single company should have a monopoly on the idea for almost 30 years. Pokemon red was released in 1996, 28 years ago. Why should they still be able to be the only company that releases pokemon-type games?

People don’t vote because they see the system is rigged so the popular vote isn’t a great standard to go by either, it’s a product of the system as well

If you had 100% turnout the popular vote would be very different.

THIS is the moment where everyone should be creating 3rd party candidates and going to the streets to spread awareness for the next election.

Not 6 months before the election with trump as a possibility. Get out there and promote 3rd party now, when people are pissed at Democrats for throwing it all away for Israel and people are pissed the trump won.

As an ex-zookeeper, Yes, because of multiple reasons.

A) Seasonal vegetables are cheap and often donated B) Seasonal items increase social media activity. C) Seasonal items are typically in-line with natural cycles that align with wild animals.

There’s literally no downside. Financial benefit, social benefit, and benefits to the well-being for the animal.

If only they let you filter out games from being seen on your store page or showing up in recommendations using this as a criteria.
