I kid but seriously. I once made the mistake of getting new shoes RIGHT before a convention where I was on my feet for 8-10 hours a day and no time to get different ones. They were too tight and that pressure caused me pain for years.

Elian lost his mother coming here and was living with relatives in Miami. His Cuban father (rightfully, in my opinion) wanted him back. His family here reasonably argued that his mother’s last act was to bring him to the US and hence he should remain.

The legal battle and ultimate decision he was to be sent back traumatized an innocent kid, but it’s not the same. The US was in the middle of a family fight where both sides were asserting viable arguments and the kid was a pawn. I don’t see that being a US policy mistake.

It’s a charade that I experienced while in a jury pool - defendant was in a wheelchair and looked like a weak, sick elderly man…accused of stabbing and nearly killing a much younger, healthy woman. I doubt she just stood there as he slowly rolled up.

You’re paying for labor. If you’re the cheapest option retention will be poor, knowledge and experience will leave and your business will (and should) suffer.

The plastic drain cleaners at home improvement stores with the Velcro tips work really well. They’re like 2’ long but in my experience cleaning the wife and kids long hair out of the bath drain has show that to be plenty.

The added fact that I have basically no hair on my head also makes be a tad bitter about always being the “handyman” guy of our family. :p

My understanding is that Michael Cohen paid out of his own pocket and was reimbursed by the campaign effectively (as you noted) being an unreported contribution. But that aside, we used to hold candidates to a standard - Dukkakis’s photo op, Hart’s boat trip, Dean’s silly yell - that was the end of their run. Trump literally cheats on his wife, talks about fondling women, is…himself over and over and quite literally takes the unprecedented step of refusing to gracefully cede power and…he still thrives. It’s beyond parody.

Between this and cheating on your wife with a porn star paid off with campaign funds not derailing a campaign. Boggles the mind how the bar fell so far.

I hope so too! Like I said, trying is a massive step and isn’t easy. Give yourself credit for that and be proud.

You’re trying which takes a lot of courage - that’s the right attitude for sure. I’d suggest joining activities not just gathering places in subjects you’re passionate about or interested in. By that I mean like games, sports, arts etc - a class or club means you share similar interests (something to break the ice) and social context to interact. It’s more likely you’ll click with others that share your interest.

So go to tour your local town in an organized group. Take a painting or pottery class. Join a recreational sport club.

Thankfully he was literally surrounded by good guys with guns preventing….oh.

But surely trained and armed amateurs are the solution to stop shootings because reasons.

Note that I have NOT used it oh chrome but on all other materials Bar Keepers Friend has been amazing with food stains. While I prefer the cream I believe the spray is less abrasive. If you tried steel wool the cream should be fine though. Good luck!
