I’ve watched a couple gameplay videos by the dev and it looks good.

I haven’t bought anything. We’ve still got another week to go though, so I might pick up something. I’m a patient gamer so I’m still waiting for Cyberpunk and expansion to come down in price. Otherwise there isn’t a whole lot that interests me right now.

I’m mostly waiting on updates for a few games I already own: Balatro is getting a big update in the new year, Enshrouded, Against the Storm, and Timberborn. I should get back in to BG3 too. I bought it on release and put 20 hours in and then just… stopped playing.

Rimworld: 1000 hours
7 Days to die: 500 hours
Valheim: 350 hours
Against the Storm: 300 hours
Skyrim: 275 hours

And now they say they need to fire the QA department to “laser focus” to meet the deadlines of the release. That’s when you need QA the most. Otherwise that release is going to be a fucking mess.

I just had a conversation with someone about this on Lemmy a few days ago. His response was to call the choice “modern identity politics” and then back up his point by saying he always chose the female choice in games if he could. As if he did it from any belief that women are strong and capable and didn’t just want to see a woman on his screen. And the comment reeks of “I’m not racist! I have a black friend!” vibes.

Anyway he ended up saying Lemmy was just like Reddit and… oh, now he’s in a different thread aggravating people and saying the same thing that Lemmy is intolerant.

Okay, then the “politico-cultural concept” and common usage of the name “Europe” is of it being one of the major continents, regardless of if it’s on its own tectonic plate or not. It clearly includes the British Isles.

Common reference maps all include The British Isles in with Europe, as well as Iceland.

The wikipedia page on Europe also includes them as part of the continent.

I’m not sure how to get your sock back to black, but I would suggest this a perfect time for some experimentation. Test a combination of pooped/non-pooped underwear and socks under different situations. Grind in some of the poop. Leave some overnight before washing. Poop directly on the clothes and compare to pooping into the washer instead. Ask your family/friends if they have any spare poop they’d be willing to part with.

Try to minimize outside factors to your scientific testing, such as eating the same meals and/or corn content to keep your poop consistent.
