I’m on Bazzite because I use my PC at the TV with a controller these days. It’s simple to use for that. That’s pretty much it.

I tried it a while ago and didn’t like it but I must say, it’s a lot closer to feeling right than it was. It seems pretty nice.

That’s the thing about sync. It just feels right, somehow. And I agree. Summit is closest in that respect.

Another vote for Summit. It is a little different, of course, but it’s the closest I’ve found. The dev is also super responsive and works on the app actively.

Yeah I’m hearing impaired on my left ear. Probably from sitting with headphones half off, playing world of warcraft and listening to loud music all day every day back in the day. I wouldn’t recommend it. I’m lucky in that it isn’t entirely gone, but I’d be lying if I said that it hasn’t affected my life.

While I’m not certain, Sync appears to be abandoned. If it were still maintained, I would recommend it highly over any other Lemmy app currently available. However, due to its currently questionable status, I recommend Summit until ljdawson (maybe) returns.

Yeah, I’m not too worried personally. I’ve encountered people who felt belittled, or maybe even infantilized, by having things explained to them. I think, ultimately, it comes down to understanding each individual’s personality and how they respond to information. As well as not being rude or disrespectful, of course.

Truth. People who give some justification for doing things don’t understand what I need. I need the actual reason. If that reason doesn’t exist then the point of the action doesn’t exist.

I think Summit is closest tbh.
